Welcome to the stunning, newly built Angle House. It is professionally managed by M Power, LLC, the leading, premier vacation rental home and management company in the Elkton area since 2010.

** Guests please note that Thanksgiving, Christmastime through New Year's Day, and JMU Graduation require a 4-night minimum stay while other holidays require a 3-night minimum stay. **

Angle House is a strikingly modern vacation home, unique to Massanutten with its super-high ceilings, open space and BIG floor to ceiling windows which will give you the feeling you are floating over the trees! The home is located in Massanutten and features walls of glass offering panoramic views of the Massanutten Valley, ski resort and golf course. The home was designed as a prototype utilizing cutting-edge, innovative and environmentally friendly building technologies. Such innovations include use of structural insulated panels (SIPs), an engineered steel foundation, and high-efficiency windows and walls. The home, which stands over a steep incline, is supported by a grid of 12 steel columns embedded in deep concrete footers, the largest of which is 30 feet high. The home’s 40-foot deck is cantilevered 8 feet out from the foundation, providing spectacular views of the Massanutten Valley.

Angle House is close to a few of our other vacation homes! Next door is Peaceful Vista. Within a 3-minute drive is our Mountain Retreat home!
Angle House contains 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The property is designed to sleep 9 guests comfortably. This home has 2 twin-to-king bed converter kits to make 2 king beds (please bring your own king sheets & blankets).

Enter the home after carefully descending the stairs that lead to the front door. From the front door to the left are two bedrooms (one has a queen bed, the other has 2 twin beds that can be put together using a king bed converter), a full bathroom and the laundry room.

To the right is the GREAT room. The great room takes up much of the main floor space, and contains a living, dining, and kitchen area.
The sleek and streamlined European-style kitchen is outfitted for people who like to cook and entertain. Enjoy preparing and eating meals, with a stunning view. There is plenty of seating at the dining table for 10 people.

The living room has a large cable TV and comfortable sofa set. Enjoy movies and your favorite shows, if you can take your eyes off the view through the wall of windows!
There is a BOSE speaker system you can plug your tablet, iPad, or cell phone into and listen to your favorite music.

Two sliding doors open to the home’s 40 foot “L” shaped deck perched above the trees. Relax on the deck in the Adirondack chairs, grill dinner on the charcoal grill, or just hang out and enjoy some time reflecting.

A quiet study is adjacent to the great room, offering a work desk and reading area.
The private primary bedroom is beyond the study, offering a queen bed, floor to ceiling a view, of course, and a full bath.

A stairway from the great room leads to the home’s loft. Adjacent to the loft is the fourth bedroom containing 3 twin beds. Two of the twin beds can be joined using the king converter. A gorgeous full bath is nearby.

Lovely home with great views and expansive wrap around deck. Three suggestions for improvement: 1) Include bath towels; 2) Invest in a propane gas grill.3) Add some colorful artwork on the walls to cheer the place up.

We enjoyed staying at this sleek and beautiful property. It is great for large family or friends group to do a getaway hiking/golfing/skiing trip. The kitchen is modern and well furnished - we cooked all meals the entire stay and have no issue with the dishwasher/stoves/oven/cookware. There is a nice balcony to chill if the weather allows. The only thing to note is that the drive is very narrow and can only park max 3 cars. Overall would highly recommend this property.

The house was beautiful and minimalist. I appreciated the Christmas tree. Unfortunately there were still dead flies on the window-sill and fixtures (towel bar and curtain rods) were loose and fell. Not really a big deal. I gave a low score because Kevin blew me off. Mind you we stayed 6 days.We left the house on 01/01, unfortunately I left a valuable coat behind. I realized this on 01/04 and emailed Kevin. He said that he had a guest come in right after we checked out and that he will check with cleaners. On 01/07 I asked again about the coat. On 01/08 he responded that they were having snow, so no one had a chance to safely get into the property and clean or see if the coat was left behind and then he said sorry for the delay! At this point I feel I was blown off and lied to. On 01/11 I asked again about the coat and as of now I still don’t have a response from Kevin. I have a copy of our conversation.

Our family of 4 came to the area to hike the Appalachian trail. The large dining table and outdoor Adirondack chairs is where we spent most of our time while we were at the home. The views are stunning. Kitchen had all the essentials. Loved waking up to the giant picture window in the master. Felt like waking up in the forest. Kids loved watching the deer right from the windows and deck. We are already talking about coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay. I booked the home to celebrate my Father’s birthday with our family. Everyone really loved the house. It was clean and modern, as we hoped. The views from the wrap around balcony were also a great change from the city. We received very accurate directions and instructions for the home, that were easy to follow. The living/dining/kitchen area was a nice spacious location for our family gatherings. The location was also nice, for when played a few rounds of golf. I would recommend the beautiful Angle House. My only recommendation is to please note the steepness of the stairs to get down to the front door. If you were to have anyone handicap, it would be a very difficult and seemingly dangerous task.

We have a VRBO property ourselves and therefore my perspective on this property. We loved the design and views, there were a few small cleaning issues. There are a lot of flies on the second story window sills that need removing and with the platform beds showing all dust below, they need to be swiffered as well. Lastly, I realize it would take more time for the cleaners but really the owner should provide bath towels and washcloths. Costco has them really inexpensive and it would help the renter from having to fill their bags with towels when traveling by air. Thanks for the stay!

Check in nightmare. Couldn’t find office. Couldn’t get in touch with Charity. Very stressful! Beautiful house, clean, gorgeous views, location perfect. Two rolls of toilet paper for 9 people is a problem. One family member forgot towels. Given the price of the stay seems they could be provided! If someone steals them, take it out of damage deposit, people!

Home was as beautiful as pictured with a fantastic view. Everyone in our family group of seven (ages 16-60) found activities at Massanutten they enjoyed. Good, spacious, place overall and we enjoyed our stay but here is what future guests and owner need to know: I gave two stars for cleanliness because the house had not been swept and also because there were no plastic shower curtain liners in any of the bathrooms--just thin cloth ones with a line of mold at the bottom. Checking in and out would be much easier if a keypad were installed (rather than picking up and returning keys to a location10 minutes away). You must bring your own bath towels and washcloths which I find annoying and cheap when vacation homes do not provide those. There were hand towels in the bathrooms, but the kitchen had no towel, cleaning cloth, or dish scrubbers. There were two rolls of paper towels provided and two extra rolls of TP in a basket in the kitchen. Hand soap (pumps) in the bathrooms and kitchen but you need to bring your own bar soap or body wash for the shower (don't forget shampoo either as there are no little ones). Beds were comfortable. Overhead lighting in the main room was not enough at night; We had to pull lamps from the bedrooms to do puzzles and games. I didn't mind hauling trash to dumpster site but that may bother other guests.

The property was lovely and the view spectacular! But we noticed a few things after getting settled. In multiple corners (several feet up), there were hundreds of lady hugs in several rooms. It was so embarrassing because I had invited a few people up to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with me. There were also huge spider webs everywhere. It was obvious that the lady bugs and spider webs had been there for a while because there were so many of both. Also, the oven was filthy and the refrigerator had a bad odor. We did not use the oven until Saturday, so that is when we noticed it. We sanitized the oven and refrigerator before we used them. We notified the management office afterwards. They said we should have notified them at the time but that was not possible. Basically the response of the office was they will notify the owners so they can have a pest control company to come out. The just of the response was, we will take care of it so it will be clean for the next occupants. The office also said we were lying about the condition of the house. The reason why I say, they said we were lying, is because when we emailed the management office, the reply was, it checked out the day before you arrived. I took that response as, I was lying. We also had to notify the management company after two weeks because the deposit had not been refunded. The deposit was soon refunded after the call. To sum it up, there were many stipulations online to lease the house. Because of the stipulations, I was expecting superior service, which we did not receive. The house/view were all that the ad said it would be but the management, customer service and housekeeping services were not. Disappointed!

Beautiful house looking across the valley toward the peak, facing West. Mornings included cups of coffee watching the sun slowly cover the ridge across the valley while the kids played in the main living room. House included a nice welcome basket with paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwasher tablets. Lots of notes that they do not provide bath towels (but they did have hand towels in the bathroom). The driveway is a small gravel driveway, but had enough room for our two cars. The lights outside must be on a timer as the lights were on all night, but turned off during the day. The one bedroom that has windows facing the driveway area needed darker shades, as with the lights on, it was still quite light in that room and we had to put up our portable black out curtains for our kids. The other rooms were good. Beds were nice (on the firmer side / tempur-pedic like feeling to them). We really enjoyed the main living area with a huge dining room table, nice kitchen, living area, with the lovely views out the windows. One afternoon, the sun did come beating in through the windows (which have no shades/curtains) and it was pretty blinding. So the afternoon sun was quite bright. We did not have any issues with the unit itself (cleanliness, etc.) and thus did not have to try to communicate with management or maintenance people, so cannot comment on that. Check-in process should be made easier. We checked in on Friday and out on Sunday, which involved driving to the check-in site (different from the house) to pick up keys. Nobody was there, so we got the keys from the lockbox and same story when checking out. Why not just have a lockbox at the house itself and codes emailed out? Not a huge deal, but it would make this a nicer/easier process to check-in for a renter. Otherwise, we enjoyed the space and would recommend it!
