"We are country folk so we’re happier staying at the country style motel. Mirka and Eugene are the sweetest and kindest owners. They are friendly and eager to help. I really appreciate how clean and fresh smelling the rooms were and comfortable the beds were — fabulous mattresses!!!. I slept so good two nights in a row and that never happens at home. My favourite room is #1 at the end. We used the available picnic table and grill/bbq (2) on site. We had bought wrapped and prepared chicken and veg kabobs. My husband asked at the office if they had any tongs, and he was given whatever we needed to make that meal a success, Thanks to the supplies by our hosts. The peace and quiet and waking up to the natural countryside. Our last morning I notice the whisps of foggy vapours in the valley behind the house and how peaceful that was for the start of September. This will be “our spot” to stay when we come back to the area."

"This was our 3rd year coming back to Riverview for a peaceful and relaxing stay. If you are looking for a quite and secluded place away from the noise, traffic and others, this is the place to be. The cottage is rustic but well equipped with everything you need for your stay, and acres of property to explore. The beautiful wrap around deck is perfect for just sitting back and relaxing on a sunny day. Mark is a fantastic host and keeps in touch to make sure you have found everything you need. On our first visit, we were hiking through the woods and had some questions, and he responded within minutes to help us out. We highly recommend staying at Riverview if you want to get away from everything and relax in nature."
