「It was ok for a small town motel. Bed was old and it sounded like bubble wrap popping everytime you sit on it . The positives: shower wasn't bad and air worked.」

「If you like to sleep in an 85 degree room without working AC in the heat of summer, this hotel is for you! Very disappointed in the lack of maintenance to fix the AC. My husband requested a new room so he didn’t have to sweat to death, but they were “full” and unable to accommodate. Staff dropped the ball. This place was one and done for us. My husband travels a lot for business, and trust me… there are better hotels in McCook. You get what you pay for. :(.」

「DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. I’ve stayed here yearly since 2022, but this time, we were told our room was in “the other building”. This “other building” was in a different parking lot and had several boarded up windows/door. Parking lot full of garbage and dog feces. First floor smelled like feces. Filthy carpet. 「I'm allergic to perfumes. Our room smelled like someone spilled a container of Brut on the carpet. I did not have a reaction however. Oberlin itself is not a place to visit, only stay on your way to somewhere else.」
