"Our family had an amazing week at the beach house in Maxwelton. What a special place. Just a perfect stretch of beach and amazing views. It is so quiet and peaceful there and we could walk for miles at low tide and paddle right from the house. The house is beautiful and well cared for. We had everything we needed, and appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!"

"We had a wonderful time here! The house had everything we needed for cooking meals. There are spices, condiments in the fridge, and other essentials in the pantry in the hallway. The lower floor is a great place for hanging out. We played multiple games of foosball and darts and relaxed in the hot tub and sauna. We also played pickleball on the community pickleball/tennis court. The view from the deck is so beautiful. We saw eagles, cranes, and swooping swallows every night. I highly recommend going next door to the distillery and taking a tour (with tastings!). The owner of the distillery has many wonderful stories and it is a delight to spend time with her. Sandy Hook is a lovely community and a great place to stay on Whidbey!"

"Tiny House is a charming retreat 5 minutes from the Clinton Ferry Dock. It is indeed "tiny"! It was perfect for me as a solo traveler but would have felt cramped with two of us. The unit was clean, there were beautiful dahlias on the table, and a few snacks in the fridge. The bed was comfortable with the softest flannel sheets I've ever slept on! While situated on a working farm, it was very peaceful, and it was fun that my nearest "neighbors" were goats, sheep, a llama, chickens, and a couple of turkeys! A couple of drawbacks, which are really minor but worth noting. As far as I could find there's only 2 electrical outlets, one in the kitchen and one on the wall by the bed--but not in the bathroom, so I had to plug in my curling iron from the kitchen outlet and snake it into the bathroom. Do-able, but awkward.There's no closet, so I had to hang a couple of items on the hooks in the bathroom (luckily I brought my own hangers), and a shelf by the bed so I was able to unpack a bit. And being a tiny house the shower is also tiny. I had a tough time washing myself without bumping elbows into the wall! But the water pressure was good, and I had plenty of hot water.Overall this was a great find, comfortable, and conveniently located. It was the perfect "home base" for some fun day trips and afternoon event that was my primary reason for being on Whidbey that weekend."

"This house feels so special. It’s tucked away in the woods and very magical. My kids loved the treehouse and swings. My phone got no service here but it was very nice to be away and not reachable. Will definitely stay again."
