"Beautiful location. An easy, scenic bus ride from the nearest train station. Our family of five felt right at home, with two small grocery stores up the street. Surrounded by beautiful hiking trails, a gorge, and water falls. A quick bus ride and brief walk you can swim in lake Walensee. "I couldn't fault my stay at hotel Franziskaner. My room was very comfortable. I upgraded my room to have my own shower, a bit more expensive but it was worth it. I had breakfast every morning which was plentiful and as much coffee as i wanted. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus/train station which was very pleasant. Staff were very friendly. "
