"Excellent gathering space. Loved the multiple hangout locations for the kids: basement bunk room and garage. We brought air mattresses for our bigger kids in the bunk room. It’s nice and dark. They all slept in until 8am. House details were so thoughtful. Attention to detail at every turn! Would highly recommend!"

"We were supposed to have 1 king size bed, but when we checked in the toilet was stopped up, so we were moved to a different room with 2 standard beds. There was a light bulb burned out in the bathroom, but it was quickly replaced. The room was clean & Kayla, the cleaning lady, was very sweet. The free breakfast was a little lacking, but the waffles were good."

"It was exactly what we were looking for. Super peaceful, beautiful scenery, remote location. Good communication and easy check in process. First night there, it was rainy but still super peaceful sitting by the fire on the porch listening to the rain. The fishing was great. Couldn't have went any better. Will definitely be returning."

"I was with a group, so didn’t do activities. Front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My breakfast was good. I saw many people enjoying making waffles. It’s definitely a family-friendly place. Because there’s no elevator in the building we were in, I requested a 1st floor room, and it was great, and convenient."

"This property is the most thoughtfully stocked place I've ever stayed. There was absolutely nothing that wasn't provided, even above and beyond. There was so much space for our group of 12, yet plenty of privacy when needed. We utilized the grill, the firepit and chairs, the entire kitchen...everything was great! It was a short walk to the covered bridge with very little traffic, and a short trip to dinner at The Chateau followed by a concert at Lincoln. Communication was a breeze. We all wished we'd planned a longer stay!"

"Oh my goodness! Where to begin? We pulled up to the house and the grandkids immediately ran to play on the swing and tire swing. Laura came over to greet us and let us know about a few things-the firewood was there for us to use. She made us feel so welcome. We unpacked, had dinner and settled the kids down with a movie (big screen TV) and popcorn. Their parents arrived later having no problems finding the house once we gave them directions.(Pull into the bar and hang an immediate left between the bar and storage shed.) Laura had a snack basket with some goodies for us. We were nervous being so close to a road but there was nothing to worry about. Everyone slept fine. There was a washing machine and drier for us to use. Looked very new and washed the kids clothes great! The next night, we had a little fire for the kids to make smores. They even supplied us with kindling wood to start the fire and lighters. Tom stopped by to make sure we had everything for the fire. The kids had toys and games to keep them busy. They were hysterical trying to use the hammock. It was a great place to be at. If we ever go to Holiday World again, we will definitely stay here! Thank you Laura and Tom!"
