"lovely hotel, great spa facilities & lovely meal. staff all fab . nly issue was the security bold on the room jammed into place when we were int he spa so we couldnt get back into our room and they had to call maintenance. the lady on reception said it happens often. we were in a hurry so it was not great and we began to panic about the time. these should be removed and replaced with ones that cant lock when you leave the room. very scary if you left a young child in there and popped out for 1 minute or had a train to catch etc. aoart from that it was brtilliant - thank you "

"I was very underwhelmed by this hotel. We just ate in the bar and my pizza was covered in garlic mayonnaise which was disgusting to be honest. One of the mattress in the room (we stayed in a twin) was very noisy, old and mobile and kept us awake when moving at night. The staff were nice but the hotel is basic"

"Hotel was clean and comfortable. My main issue was that there wasn’t decent lighting in the room - the lights in the main room were very dull. Fine for the evening but felt like I couldn’t see properly in the morning - especially as there was very little day light coming into the room."
