Beautiful location

We had a very enjoyable stay for three nights. The apartment was furnished very comfortably with abundant private outdoor space. The owner was easy to reach and provided great suggestions for activities and restaurants. She was also very helpful in understanding the transportation system. I wish we had planned on staying longer.

Perfect stay

We really enjoyed our stay, it is so close to everything! Short scooter or bus to Sorrento and to Capri ferry! Massa Lubrense is a cute little town with everything you need. Perfect apartment and wonderful host

Our stay was wonderful, our host Patrizia arranged private tours and travel from airport to apartment. She answered all questions and made wonderful recommendations. The apartment was just the right size for us! The patio had a perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea and Capri! We would stay there again

Great Spot!

Such a cool place to stay. Just a short (uphill) walk to the town square. Patrizia is a kind and accommodating host. She made us feel welcome and comfortable the whole time we were here. We stayed in the single offset room that has a small kitchen area and bathroom in addition to the bed. The views from this property are second to none. Busses are easy to grab near the town square for going to Sorrento and then, anywhere you want essentially. We made a day trip to Amalfi for a cooking class that was our most fun day we had in Italy. Busses and ferries are easy to grab in Sorrento to wherever you’d like. Can’t say enough good things about staying here. We would definitely stay here again.

Relax and recharge

Very cute house, beautiful view from deck. The little town of Masse Lubrense is charming, but not always open. Great place to relax and recharge, but need a car to take advantage of all the sites in the area,as the location is somewhat isolated. Can walk to town and take a bus, but taxis are very expensive.The hosts were super nice and helpful!!!

Absolutely beautiful space!

The garden and the sunset images speak for themselves! Patrizia's place is absolutely stunning and the apartment is very comfortable. She was an amazing hostess and organized boat trips for us and was so kind and helped to make our stay in Massa Lubrense extra special. We loved the garden and the beautiful views of Capri, enjoying our coffees. It is close to a great beach and great restaurants. We were so lucky to enjoy this space!

Beautiful place with wonderful view

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Cute little place with a shared patio area with amazing views! Patrizia the host was wonderful! Helped us with booking a taxi to and from airport and an excursion on the Amalfi coast which was terrific! She responded right away anytime we messaged her. The village of Massa Lubrense is very quaint and not nearly as crowded as Sorrento and some of the other more touristy spots. Our favorite part was sitting on patio in evening after dinner and chatting with the other guests while watching the beautiful sunset! Awesome stay!

Beautiful studio with stunning view of the Gulf of Naples

Our stay was excellent from many points of view. The studio is nice, modern, very convenient for two people, with a beautiful garden and terrace from which one admires stunning views of the gulf of Naples and Capri and the right place to watch the sunset. The apartment is cozy and well equipped, very clean and comfortable; very close to the town center and to the small port and beaches of Massa Lubrense. Massa is less crowded than other places in the Sorrento coast and being so close to Sorrento makes it an excellent location for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. The host, Mrs. Patrizia, was incredibly kind, available and helpful. We could not ask for a better place to stay and highly recommend it.

Quiet Paradise overlooking Capri!

We cannot say enough about Patrizia’s hospitality. From the start, she welcomed us and made us feel like we were home. She really seems to know everyone in town, and had excellent recommendations for restaurants, tours, and places to visit. Her joy and calling is to be an excellent host! In every way, she went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience and took care of us like we were family. We stayed in the small apartment, and it was clean, comfortable, and everything we needed. The property itself is as beautiful as the pictures suggest, and we spent many days and nights on the terrace. The location was perfect for a quick stroll into Massa centro and even down to the port! Massa centro also had a great bus service, so a person could get anywhere on the coast. Even better—rent a scooter! It was a fun and adventurous way to take in the sights. And the best part, they drive on the right side of the road like in the States! So if you are lucky enough to find yourself on the Amalfi Coast, and you are even luckier to find yourself relaxing in wonderful Massa Lubrense, you will be luckiest of all to have Patrizia welcome you home. This was hands-down our best vacation yet, thanks to Patrizia’s hospitality and the beauty of Massa Lubrense.

This is about as good as it gets for a romantic getaway

First time in Italy and we were NOT disappointed! Once we made it to "Tessa's Holiday" and took it all in, we immediately knew we had made one of the best travel scores EVER. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. Unlike many VRBOs where the pics only show the "good angles", the photos of this place don't do it justice. The quaint garden within a secure courtyard is dotted with trees bursting with ripe lemons. An olive tree pruned like a truffula tree frames the most spectacular sunsets that light up the Gulf of Naples with Mount Vesuvius and Capri looming on the horizon. You are up on the hill so you get a fantastic view over the water. The perfect spot to have a morning coffee, an evening cocktail, or nap in the hammock surrounded by beautiful flowers. The apartment was super clean and well appointed. The kitchen had exactly what you would need for two people and not a bunch of extra stuff to clutter the place. Very tastefully decorated with a super comfy bed. PERFECT! And as for the lovely PATRIZIA...cannot say enough about what an amazing hostess she was. Whenever we needed ANYTHING (fresh towels, ANY reservations, driver to the train station) she was on it. She must be a big deal in Massa because everyone she sent us to treated us better than everyone else!!!! We LOVED Massa Lubrese-the endless footpaths winding through the lemon groves, the charm, the quiet. And Sorrento was a quick/cheap bus ride for shopping and more action.

Das kleine Apartment für 2 Personen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ansprechend, modern, einladend eingerichtet mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Patrizia, die Gastgeberin war sehr umsichtig und hat uns mit allerlei Informationen und kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten versorgt. Sie half und organisierte Ausflüge mit. Die Bootsfahrt nach Capri (mit Shuttle von der Tür zum Hafen) war unser Highlight und hat uns nachhaltig beeindruckt. Die Terrasse mit Garten und traumhaften Weitblick über's Meer nach Capri war der Hit. Ob morgens oder abends - Entspannung pur in der Hollywoodschaukel. Herzlichen Dank an Patrizia :) We will come back...

Very tranquil location with great views. Close enough to Sorrento to go back and forth. The village has great restaurants and cafes. The accommodation is very clean with strong and stable wifi. Comfortable and has laundry. Patrizia is super welcoming and made an appearance with a big smile on her face and eager to share knowledge of what things are available in the area. Fantastic Getaway!

Patrizia has an amazing place and if we are ever back in the area, we will be there again! Everything was clean and well maintained and Tony, our point of contact, was kind and helpful. The best feature was the huge terrace shared with one other family where we sat in the swing and admired the view each evening. I would definitely recommend staying if you have the chance!

Beautiful Spot in Massa Lubrense!

My husband and I stayed in one of the villas for our 9th anniversary. Patrizia was EXTREMELY helpful and communicated right away whenever we had any questions regarding our stay or anything we wanted to know about the area. She shuttled us (for free) to a wonderful seafood restaurant right in Massa Lubrense (Funiculi Funicula- amazing!), and made great recommendations for other spots as well. Some of our favorites were Bar Di Sarno (cafe/bar/gelato) and Angelo's Bar. We took the bus into Sorrento for one of the days (20 minutes, $3/ea) which was a quick, easy trip. The bus comes to the Massa Lubrense town square every 20 minutes or so. We also drove into Nerano (20-30 min drive) and enjoyed the beach there (BREATHTAKING). We loved staying in the coast area with lots to do and see but having our own spot in Massa Lubrense, a smaller community amongst it all. Very clean, kitchen area if needed, and even a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Also a very short walk (5-10 min) into the town square to groceries, cafe, couple of restaurants...The ONLY downside to this stay was that we thought we were getting a balcony/terrace attached to our room, so that we could wake up and see the sea- it turns out that our room was on the lower level of the house and we had to go up a set of stairs to take advantage of the patio area. Not a huge deal, just something we didn't realize. Once out on the patio area, view is BEAUTIFUL of the sea and Capri. All in all, a fabulous stay! Enjoy the small black kitty that roams the property, the fresh lemons, and the other great guests that are sure to be there as well. Thank you Patrizia and Antonio for everything!

Escape to Paradise

I would say for the first time using VRBO and choosing Patrizia’s property, my wife and I were very luck and fortunate. Patrizia by far exceeded any and all expectations, she stayed in contact with us during our stay and went above and beyond in providing advice and opinions and different activities we wanted to do. Furthermore her little paradise escape is exactly what our soul needs. The porch over looking the capri and Ana Capri islands was tranquil and therapeutic and the sunsets were absolutely amazing. I recommend Patrizia’s property any time you are looking for an escape to small town that is close to the amalfi coast, positano, sorrento, Pompei, Naples just to name a few. Patrizia you were amazing and you will be seeing us again!!!

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung in perfekter Lage!

Wir waren zu zweit eine Woche in Patrizias kleinem Appartement. Patrizia ist eine herzliche, hilfsbereite und gastfreundliche Vermieterin. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt: privater Parkplatz, gut ausgestattete Küche, funktionales sauberes Bad, bequemes Bett, ausreichende Schränke, ein privater Außenbereich und eine traumhafte Terrasse mit vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten mit Blick auf Capri. Der Garten mit Zitronenbäumen ist einfach wunderbar, wir haben jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants sind in der Nähe und auch ohne Auto zu erreichen. Wir hatten zwar einen Mietwagen, aber man kommt auch bestens mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zurecht. Patrizia gab uns wertvolle Tipps zum Essengehen und für Tagesausflüge: wir haben in einer Woche Sorrent, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Neapel, Pompeji und die phlegräischen Felder besichtigt; die Lage des Appartements eignet sich dafür ideal. Es war ein absoluter Traumurlaub und wir kommen definitiv wieder! Grazie Patrizia!

Perfect honeymoon!

Absolutely loved our stay in Massa Lubrense. Patrizia is amazing and helped us with everything and gave us so many tips and info. We took busses down to Sorrento. But it was nice to be in a separate little beach town for our honeymoon. Loved walking down to the port, very relaxing. Would definitely recommend

apartment was perfect, fantastic patio overlooking Capri. Best thing was our hostess Patricia made arrangements for us to be picked up and taken to dinner at the marina and return home as well as having us picked up and taken to tour boat for tour of Capri. So helpful with anything we wanted. Highly recommend
