「The Melrose is a gorgeous place to stay away from the hustle & bustle of Sorrento. The pool area & gardens are lovely as is the outside bar - every little detail has been thought of, it’s a lovely place to spend time relaxing. We stayed in the delux double room which is very spacious, the only downside is, it doesn’t have an outdoor seating area whereas most of the other rooms do. 「We stayed in a junior suite. There were some slight problems in our room, but the staffs solved all properly and promptly. All staffs are very friendly and most helpful. The room has a big balcony with great ocean view. Perfect for holidays to spend all day here enjoying the ocean view!!」

The location is great, nearby several coastal towns but far enough from the tourist-y areas so it’s very peaceful. The staff is also incredibly welcoming and helpful! 「Beautiful resort, away from the hustle and bustle of town centre, peaceful, beautiful views, superb pool and opulent restaurant. Better to have a car, though we used public transport (bus), frequency was low but it was timely and saved us from driving on winding roads. Renting a car would have increased our mobility.
