"The staff was amazing however the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The hotel did not provide a shuttle and the buses stopped going down to the pier at a certain time. Taxi’s add up really quickly. The taxis overcharge as well due to location. I wish I would have stayed closer to Sorrento."

"Property afforded a great family experience in Italy. Views were beautiful and outdoor patio so inviting. The accommodations exceeded expectations for our large group.Damiano was professional, knowledgeable and eager to meet our needs. Neighborhood was quaint and offered wonderful cafes and restaurants. They did not disappoint and provided easy access during our visit for snacks, fabulous pizza and grand dining.Would definitely consider for a return visit."

"We rented the "deluxe apartment". Beautiful property. Very spacious with plenty of room to unpack and feel right at home. Cabinets, drawers, area to hang clothes, iron with ironing board set aside comfortably in a seating/desk area (bonus space). Nice outside seating area I enjoyed drinking morning coffee. "Came here with my girlfriend, great kitchen with a gas stove, private little apartment separated from the rest of the complex. The pool area was beautiful and it was wonderful to relax around the property. We also hiked to sorrento which took about an hour, but is extremely beautiful."

"Absolutely lived up to our expectations. Nello's Villa was the perfect location to visit Sorrento peninsula for a week. The village of Massa Lubrense was walkable via the path above the olive groves. Restaurants and Marina were great and the locals made us feel like family. Coming back to the villa after busy days in Capri or hiking path of gods in Amalfi or touring Pompei was the best. The pool and outdoor verandas and views were so relaxing. "Staying here is a must if you love grand, peaceful views, incredible food and service, and helpful and inviting staff and owners.
This is truly the House of the Baron, settled hillside with panoramic vistas of the sweeping mountain ranges alongside of Naples towards Sorrento. Every aspect of your stay has been considered, and the house keeps a meticulous record of your wants and needs.
You can and should consult Gloria & Maria about the area, arranging cars, boats, scooters, and everything else you can think of. They are each extremely polite and helpful.
Anna ran an excellent cooking class, and accommodated our diet flawlessly by crafting a dish for us to make on short notice.
Fabio and family were very pleasant to talk with as well, and often checked in on our visit and day as we saw them.
I’m ashamed to say I didn’t catch his name, but will say your day starts with the kindest man of all managing your breakfast and generally spreading joy to kickstart your day.
Don’t second guess where to stay, this is the perfect place for your trip, and will be my first stop when I come back to Italy."

"Antonio Massa Lubrense is like paradise on earth! Beautiful grounds and accommodation. The location is great, nearby several coastal towns but far enough from the tourist-y areas so it’s very peaceful. The staff is also incredibly welcoming and helpful! Many thanks to Giuseppe for giving us recommendations on beaches and restaurants to visit. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The Melrose is a gorgeous place to stay away from the hustle & bustle of Sorrento. The pool area & gardens are lovely as is the outside bar - every little detail has been thought of, it’s a lovely place to spend time relaxing.
We stayed in the delux double room which is very spacious, the only downside is, it doesn’t have an outdoor seating area whereas most of the other rooms do.
Dining at the hotel was excellent with a great dinner choice - the outdoor terrace where dinner is served has stunning views across the bay to Naples.
Breakfast was also very good with great hot & cold choices.
The staff are brilliant & so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Due up the location of the hotel, the centre of Sorrento can be reached by using the excellent bus service that stops near to the hotel.
We loved our holiday at The Melrose & can’t recommend it highly enough as a lovely, calming place to stay ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
