"Nice room, but basic. Too over priced for basically just a nights sleep. Room was freezing when arrived, but figured out the heater and warmed up. Bathroom very small."

"Room was excellent however we did not have any hot water, nor did we have wifi ,the staff was not available, we called the office number provided with no answer. At 10PM someone entered our room startling us, our door was locked so this person entering had to have a key that worked for our room. Checking out the next morning there was no one at the office, I called the number, the person answering would not come to the desk he did not want to hear our concerns this was 10:30 in the morning, he just told me to "leave the key on the desk" and hung up!"

"We needed a place to stay for 1 night. This place isn’t fancy but it’s clean, comfortable and the shower was hot. The staff is nice and friendly. We saw a bald eagle while eating breakfast! It is close to the road so there was a little traffic noise going by."

"Excellent property! It was the perfect place for our family of 12 to stay. Plenty of space & the beautiful fall colours were seen from every window . The fire place was amazing , enjoyed by all. It definitely exceeded our expectations .The log chalet was perfect !"

"This property had plenty of space for just the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped and enabled us to cater for ourselves for the 3 nights we stayed. The heating worked well as the temperature outside was chilly but we were plenty warm enough inside. Comfy, warm bed. The shower was nice but the sealant round the base was mouldy and needs cleaning or replacing."

"We had amazing stay at Gus and Gertrude’s. It was a perfect base camp for our fall salmon fishing adventure. It was so nice to come back to a cozy cabin after cold long days on the river. Gus and Gertrude were amazing hosts, highly recommend"

"The location was awesome - walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shop. An hour from the cabot trail. Place was spotless, beds were extremely comfortable and everything you need was provided. Highly recommend."
