This is a clean, tidy and quiet place to stay with great outdoor space for doggos. Nicely situated within easy distance to town. Easy to reach hosts. Would be happy to stay again in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Little White Bach. The location is perfect to explore the town and the vineyards, all of which are a close drive or cycle away. The house has all the amenities you could want for a really comfortable, peaceful break. The garden is beautiful and fully fenced, so ideal for the dog. We could not have asked for more and would definitely return in the future.
Great little property, modern and clean. The two decks were handy to follow the sun. The kitchen amenities had all the basics and everything we needed for our stay. So nice to take our small dog with us and have a nice property to stay in which isn't always the case.
Great communication with Lisa. We would definately stay again!
The perfect place to relax and enjoy Martinborough. From the shopping, to the coffee and the local vineyards, it was an amazing weekend. Accommodation top notch :) Thank you.
We loved our stay and enjoyed using the deck and outdoor area. In the evening the temperature dropped but we were very cosy with the central heating and quality bedding. We've already booked to stay again.
From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. Fully fenced which was just right for our Labrador. The interior of the house very tastefully decorated. Loved the indoor outdoor flow and and easy walk to the square. Thanks Lisa for a lovely stay, we’ll certainly be back.
We used the property in order to attend a family wedding. Lisa arranged for a quick turnaround from the previous guest so that we could all have time to get ready. Lisa was incredibly helpful. Property was really well appointed very clean and a pleasure to stay in. Will 100% book again when staying in Martinborough
I grew up in the area, but actually staying *in* Martinborough was a novelty for me. And what a wonderful little home to experience a town that has changed a LOT since I was a kid.
First things first: the house is adorable and cozy. We were there in winter, and its central heating kept us nice and warm. We would absolutely stay here again next time we're in the area. We didn't really get to make use of the deck and garden, but I can only imagine that a cup of tea with the birds first thing in the morning would be magical.
Everything in town is so compact that talking about the convenience of this home is a bit of a misdirection. Yes, it's very convenient, but Martinborough is very convenient. Nothing in town is far away. It was an easy walk to the square and everything in it.
So I'm going to look at the bigger picture: if you take the time to get out of the vineyards, the Wairarapa is an endless collection of wonderful experiences that are all at least 20 minutes away from everything else. It's hardly a burden, but there's a lot of driving rural roads to get anywhere, including home. But after a full day of black sand (Lake Ferry), seals (Palliser), unexpected hikes (Putangirua), it was effortless to roll back into Martinborough and pull up to this little house for a quiet night where we enjoyed the kiwi dip left for us by our host.
Everything works, and the house is well-equipped and stocked. A gem of a home.
