"The rooms are small but clean except for the spiderwebs at the ceiling. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice. They give you enough pillows too. The view is great. Sitting on the deck in the morning, watching the boats go by while I eat my breakfast is so relaxing. They are a pet friendly motel that charges $25/ night which gets expensive if you spend a week there. Otherwise it was a lovely stay."

"Love staying at the cabin, my second visit and I'll be back soon.Was so relaxing walking the trails with my dogs, very peaceful. Had everything you need and Iron River is 10 minutes away if you desire groceries, ice, adult libations or laundry. Wifi was appreciated so I could watch IMCA 141 race Saturday night Brian is very quick to respond if you have questions!!"

"Property has everything you need for your stay in the northwoods. Ample room for a family or a couples vacation. Everything was clean and ready. Being pet friendly was a big plus! Our Weimaraner loved it! Shops were close. Ice cream shop in Phelps. Great pizza at Northern Exposure in Phelps. Had a great time! Thanks,Chuck!"

"The host was very gracious when we arrived a day early due to my error. For a day’s fee she allowed us to check in. The place was very clean. A refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, oven and stove were all in good shape. The bathroom was small but both a shower and bathtub. There is A LOT of noises in the pipes when showering but it did not affect its use. The washer/dryer was behind metal doors outside and down some stairs. CAUTION: The washer tub is very small and struggles with any laundry that is off balance. It will stop working so check often to make sure it’s completed its cycle. The dryer is not terribly efficient and will often take longer than you would think to dry your laundry.The check out time is 10:00 and due to the request to wash/dry and fold laundry and the inconsistency of the washer/dryer you must either wake up really early or see if you can stay a little later in order to get it all done. Overall the laundry issues were annoying and the pipe noise during showers were loud, but the cabin was nice."
