The 2nd district covers the oldest part of Marseilles, at the North of the Vieux Port (Old Harbour), also with the Panier district. This historical neighbourhood hosts the Grands Carmes City Hall. The various restaurants and grocery stores, the pedestrian streets and the colourful buildings give a typical feeling of this place, attracting the tourists. Airy Place at a Great Location

Great location, simply but functionally furnished with an airy and bright upper storey with a nice view onto the sea. Maria is a great, attentive and responsibe host.

Great place but tricky stair case not for someone that has problems going up or down stairs. Love the balcony views and was in the middle of shops and restaurants.

This apartment has an amazing location! 10 out of 10! The property needs a new bed because it was super uncomfortable! Also the pillows need to be replaced for sure but there was a lot of charm in this apartment! And it’s nice that you can do laundry. Also more towels need to be provided! Also to note the stair case to actually get up to the apartment is very narrow and steep so if your not in good shape be aware because bringing a suitcase is difficult! Overall I would rate the property 7/10

Retour à Marseille plusieurs années après

Séjour bien agréable dans un quartier plein de charme. L’appartement est très bien situé et bien agencé. Seuls bémols: la complexité pour accéder à l’appartement: escalier très raide et étroit pour arriver au 3e étage et même dans l’appartement pour monter au 4e… propreté assez approximative de celui-ci. Il serait très utile de revoir la literie (matelas, qualité et nombre des oreillers), la propreté des tapis de sol, la vaisselle ( juste suffisante mais parfois ébréchée…) et une 2e table de chevet lampe pour pouvoir lire dans le lit. il suffirait de quelques améliorations pour que ce soit un « vrai nid d’amour «  comme vous le décrivez. Nous sommes malheureusement tombés en pleine canicule et l’absence d’air conditionné était difficilement supportable…

Excellent emplacement à Marseille

3 jours superbes à Marseille. Le logement est très bien, accueil super de Maria. Un bémol sur la literie : matelas peu épais et où on ressent les ressort. C'est dommage.

Ce séjour nous a permis de "prendre la température" du centre ville marseillais. L'hébergement est à proximité des sites importants, proche de la gare et bien desservi par les transports en commun.
