The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. "Good rental and position. We parked in front of the house ( and not to the right hand side as instructed) but even just backing out the car was a tricky business. "We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. It was lovely and clean throughout and the front terrace was a lovely sunny spot all day! Our host, Fred was lovely, very discreet but available if we needed anything."

"We had a wonderful autumn holiday in this villa. Mahil received us very kindly and the house was fully equipped. (Towels, bed linen,, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets etc). The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and a good shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of things to keep you entertain in the garden too. (Table tennis, pool, swing, and a lovely swimming pool. Tourist activities are close by. We enjoyed visiting the Dordogne and the beautiful caves and castles. Thank you...

"Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop. "

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."

"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "
