It was a clean place and a warm pool for the kids. Just really big in a sense of a lot of waking down different halls and stairs to get to your room. It is a great spot right near the square so easy to walk to(super helpful with kids). I would stay here again but since I stayed in a different one before this one, it’s hard not to compare. Breakfast is a buffet type and not on rooftop- another bummer. The rooftop is also another few hallways to get to. It’s little things like that we enjoyed at the other one. Totally fine place to stay though and would recommend if you aren’t as picky as me. Most places not hotels do have a lot of stairs- be aware.
Riad Palais des Princesses is perfectly located within walking distance in the heart of the Medina, right in the old town style surrounding Jemaa el-Fnaa. But once you step inside, it's a completely different world — a beautifully styled traditional Moroccan riad, clean and elegant from top to bottom.
What truly makes this place special is the people. Nouhaila is the soul of this riad, warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Simo was extremely professional and patient, welcoming us upon arrival with genuine hospitality. And Mariam in the restaurant took wonderful care of us at every meal. Together, they turned our stay into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.
The hotel is very well situated, and the property itself is quite nice. Unfortunately, I was a bit unlucky as my spa appointment was cancelled, but everything else during my stay was pleasant.
Excellent staff, nice calm and good environment, best place ever had before.
Specially night manager was very helpful even late night when we had an issue with air condition.
I enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean all the time with great cleaning service. They are all awesome! Also, the staff were helpful in accommodating our stay to be more eventful. I would definitely come back.
Beautiful riad. Very clean and well managed.
Staff was outstanding. Alway ready to help in getting around or a chat about their city.
Great breakfast too. Nou Nou was very helpfull and spoke great english which was helpful.
Located deep within the medina, you’ll be walking to this hotel.
When you first find it and walk through the glass doors you’re transported away from the hustle and bustle of the souk where you can sip mint tea and relax on the roof top veranda soaking up the sun.
The staff are cheerful and helpful.
A fantastic hotel.
Rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was very good and delicious with a lot of variety. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this Riad. Thank you to all the friendly staff.
We traveled to Morocco with our 1.5-year-old toddler and stayed for 6 nights. Unfortunately, considering the price we paid, the experience did not meet our expectations.
The main issue was cleanliness. The room did not feel properly cleaned, and daily housekeeping seemed to take only 10–15 minutes, mostly changing bed linens and doing a quick tidy-up. The bathroom, in particular, was not cleaned to the standard we expected.
Breakfast was also very repetitive, with pretty much the same options every day during our 6-night stay. For families with babies or toddlers, there are very limited amenities—other than a high chair in the dining area, we didn't find anything specifically for young children.
There is also no proper space to work, so keep this in mind if you plan to use a laptop during your stay.
The hotel is inside the Medina and cannot be reached by car. After our airport transfer, we had to walk about 10 minutes with our luggage and toddler to reach the hotel.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Overall, we expected more for the price we paid.
