It would have been nice to have bottles of water replaced in our room every day we stayed, rather than just day 1. Our toilet was not flushing so reported it and it was fixed straight away, only thing was that the bath mat was soaking wet and they left it on top of the bed! When we arrived we were not greeted with complimentary drinks as we saw other guests were greeted with drinks (Moroccan tea). I needed help with a restaurant booking so approached the front desk, the First Gentleman I spoke to I felt was abit abrupt with me! so spoke to another one instead who was very helpful. I would have loved a long floor mirror in our room rather than one hung on the wall as a decorative piece( but could not even look in it as it was high up). This is not a complaint but just something I experienced! I would definitely book this riad again as it was so convenient to a lot of the places we visited, very clean, breakfast was enjoyable and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful especially the guy who took our suitcases from us midway on the way to our taxi ( as he just took other guests to their taxi, and saw us) the poor man nearly got run over by a motorcycle but he was not hurt!

Le palais est très joli et bien situé. Le personnel est adorable et bienveillant. Le petit déjeuné est varié et copieux. Les chambres sont jolies mais pourraient être améliorées (salle de bain exigue et très peu éclairée). Une mention plutôt négative pour le restaurant, qui est, certes pas cher mais vraiment pas de bonne qualité.

Upon arriving at the airport at 10:44pm we were hoping to be greeted by our driver, who we booked 3 months prior to arrival, that was not the case. We had to wait an hour for him to arrive to pick us up. No apology just went on like nothing had happened. We arrive at entrance where they drop you off with your luggage and someone comes to meet you to bring you down the alley to your hotel. Check in was fine and smooth BUT once we got into the room is where we were both put off (not even the first two scenarios were as bad). There were moths and gnats as the window was left open and stains on the sheets. At this point it was late and we were both exhausted, but not tired enough to hop on the internet and book another hotel for the next night. We got minimal sleep and had a tour booked for early the next morning. After the tour we came back to the room, collected our luggage, and went down to check out a day early. They basically just took our keys, gave us a thumbs up, and told us to have a nice day (kick rocks) after telling them about the room situation. Once again no apologies, "how can we make this right?", nothing.

Le Menu du petit déjeuner est très bien car proposition de sucré ou salé jusqu’à 10h, la restauration est excellente et généreuse à des prix tout à fait abordables ! Le Riad est merveilleusement beaux et bien entretenu en revanche les chambres ne sont pas à l’image de ce dernier, moins jolies et il manque quelques éléments lorsqu’on y passe la semaine… rangements, armoires, ainsi que quelques accessoires de salle de bains… Le personnel est au petit soin et fort sympathique !

Lo que más me gustó fue el edificio en si. La decoración muy cuidada y la zona de piscina muy agradable. La ubicación del Riad , fenomenal, en la Medina.A muy poca distancia de la plaza de Marrakech. La habitación, deja mucho que desear. El armario y las mesillas ridículos, pequeñísimos. Lo peor fue el baño ,sin secador de pelo ni una simple banqueta y no había ni un enchufe.

Hôtel calme et dont les extérieurs sont particulièrement soignés. Il est bien situé dans la médina. Quel dommage d'avoir tant négligé les chambres ! Je vous déconseille les chambres familiales toutes situées au RDC, elles sont sombres, de taille réduite et les sanitaires sont très vétustes et datés. Aux dires du réceptionniste, elles sont toutes similaires. Les photos des différents sites ne sont pas conformes à la réalité de ces chambres. Le petit-déjeuner est très classique et manque de produits frais. La piscine est décorative en avril car malgré la chaleur exrerieure, l'eau est très fraîche et la baignade n'a apparemment tenté personne malgré un hôtel bien rempli. Dommage, j'espérais faire vivre la vie de palais à ma petite famille... La réalité a été toute autre pour un prix onéreux. Je vous déconseille de prendre la navette proposée par l'hôtel facturée 22 € alors que nous avons trouvé à 2 pas de l'hôtel un taxi qui nous a proposé la même course pour 6 €. Endroit paisible au coeur de la médina mais qui manque cruellement d'authenticité et d'âme.

Amazing location and a nice hotel overall but the service is pretty lacking. There was no “do not disturb” sign in our room and we went down to reception and asked them not to clean the room one day, they went in and did it anyway. The reception wouldn’t provide change for notes and made us use our card but had another till they were using to give change from the bar. You have to walk from the restaurant downstairs to reception any time you want to pay for anything. We pre-booked a taxi for 7.40am to the airport on our last day the night before but this meant nothing, they call the taxi on the day at the time you requested so we came down expecting our taxi to be ready and had to wait another 15 mins. Breakfast is decent but otherwise the food is very poor (bordering on inedible) so would recommend eating out.

Palais Moulay said was absolutely excellant. We had a great stay. Honestly it was fantastic value for money. Really central to the main medina, literally within minutes you were right in the center. The riad was beautiful...breakfast was exactly what you would hope for, great choice. The staff were amazingly helpful. We couldnt fault it. I have no idea why it has received the negative views that might put you off going. Thank you so much for the best of stays.

The Raid was absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for shopping in the souks. Their breakfast selection was very delicious long with their cappuccinos.

Very Clean Rooms, newly renovated. Very difficult to find, especially if the driver doesn’t know the area. Not a big hotel sign located on top. We passed it three times, until we had to call the hotel for the location. The Staff is very friendly. The Medina where it’s located inside of is very congested with shops and tourists. The hotel room is very basic. The Breakfast is nice, but keep away from any milk products, as their milk is not pasteurized. It caused all of us a lot of stomach problems. If you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway, I would definitely suggest getting away from the Marrakesh. And be careful of bribery, NOT AT THE HOTEL, but outside. Even if you ask for directions, people that will some money, so make sure you keep loose change with you. A beautiful hotel, just wish it was at a different location. I would not go again to Marrakesh. Try Tangire or Essaouira ( Amazing spots ). If you do decide to go, make sure they drop you off at the Square that way it’s a straight walk to the hotel. Otherwise there’s a lot of alleys which at night is not the cleanest and slightly scary with odd characters. Keep ur belonging safe !!!!

Just returned from a three night stay. Found all staff polite, helpful and very welcoming. We could book trips with them and received a map of area. We're also given a name and number to call if we needed assistance whilst out and about. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. During peek times they did struggle a little to keep topped up. There rooms were good. We had one leak issue due to the weather too which staff were quick to sort out. The hotel is situated in a great location. Best advise, what's out for the mopeds!

Absolute horrible riad !!!! Please avoid at all cost. Had flooding in our room the first 3 nights couldn’t sleep since we couldn’t turn on the AC. Only tried to compensate us with a 30 min massage which was also terrible. Wifi in the riad was horrible so we needed to end up buying more data to use internet. Rooms were super outdated and dark. Found the staff to be quite racist , as we were one of the very few brown people at the riad + my wife is a hijabi . They kept asking us for our room number during breakfast while others infront of us would just walk right past. Absolute horrible experience at palais moulay said try to avoid at all cost . The waiters at the restaurants aren’t also trained well and are quiet rude

We zijn met open armen ontvangen door het bijzonder vriendelijke personeel. De kamers zijn schoon en de riad is uitzonderlijk mooi, bovendien op wandelafstand van Jemaa el-Fna. Een speciale dank aan chef Said voor het heerlijke eten en aan de altijd goedlachse Hajar van het restaurant voor de aangename service. We keren zeker terug.
