As a family, we had a very comfortable stay at Riad Dar al Amal. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mouad, who was consistently available and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was something we really looked forward to – every day there was a different slice of cake along with a tasty omelette and other treats. The four-person room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in a local style with a modern twist, as was the Riad itself. The location is excellent for exploring the Medina or arranging a taxi drop-off. Google Maps worked well and we had no problems finding the Riad or navigating the city. Communication with the host was great both before our arrival and during our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this riad to anyone.

Excellent week-end

We loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. We loved the decor of our bedroom and bathroom and loved having breakfast in the courtyard every morning. The roof terrace was lovely too. I also can’t say enough about the women who run the riad who were so lovely despite the language barrier. It can be a little hard to find at first as cars can’t access the road and the door can’t be seen inmediately, so I would advise looking on Google Maps first

Not what we expected

This hotel is perfect if you are backpacking and want to stay in “old town”. We had several bags and carrying them up a small spiral staircase was difficult. Ladies who ran the riad were pleasant but didn’t speak English.
