Great stay at Hotel Basar, this is a well equipped hotel with a large and well maintained pool and pool area. Food was great and the breakfast options were delicious (home made jams Yum!!)

We have recently come back from a week stay at the Basar in Dalyan and we absolutely loved it! The owner was incredibly welcoming and was always easy to communicate with. Melissa and Tugce were amazing - friendly, kind and so hard working. The staff in the kitchen were so lovely and made a delicious traditional Turkish breakfast for us every morning with breads, various cheeses, any type of egg that we wanted, homemade honey and fresh vegetables. The hotel itself is perfect, a nice bar area, two swimming pools with sun beds and well-kept grounds! Our room had everything you needed, a lovely view from the balcony and was spotlessly clean! We have stayed in many places in Dalyan but the Basar is in an ideal location - a short walk from the centre with lots of restaurants, bars and supermarkets but far enough away for it to be peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we hope to return again soon. Thank you so much!

Lovely hotel, with newly renovated rooms. Nice, good size pool. Great breakfast with lots of choice. 5 mins walk into town but quiet at night. Well run and owener on hand overseeing and chatting. Will definitely be back.

Başar Otel'de 4 gece konakladık. Minibar, klima ve duş konforu ile odalar tam puan; açık büfe kahvaltısı, işini severek yapan aşçısı, tertemiz havuzu ve işbilen personelleri ile hizmet tam puan; çarşıya ve marketlere yürüme mesafesi ile konum tam puan. Kendi üretimleri olan meyve sularına da ayrıca tam puan. Başar Otel bundan sonraki tercihlerimizin ilk sırasında yer alacak.

Sadece motorla 700 km yol geldikten sonra sonradan yönetici olduğunu öğrendiğimiz kişinin asık suratıyla bizi kapıya çıkar çıkmaz motorlar otelin önünü kapatıyor demesi inanılmaz kötü bir deneyimdi. bu tur esnasında 12. Otelimizdi, diğer yerler motoru içeri alalım temiz güvenli olsun derken (ki böyle bir talebimiz de olmadı) tek beklediğimiz güler yüz ve bir hoşgeldinizdi. Onun dışında otel ve personel çok iyiydi.

Our third stay at Basar and as great as ever. Large , spotless room , fantastic breakfast and always well looked after. Two good sized pools with pool & poolside towels provided, great for us travelling with 7kgs under seat baggage allowance! Even made us a sandwich for the airport as we were out before breakfast on an early morning flight. Can't recommend enough. Always a pleasure to stay here and we will see you again next year hopefully.

Nice stay in Dalyan

We had a great stay here. The staff were friendly from the beginning, and I appreciated that the man who checked me in went on to greet me by name the whole trip. The breakfast was tasty, and the room was clean and comfortable. We also loved the jungle-like plant setup on the walkways in between the hotel's buildings and pool, and we found our room to be clean and comfortable. Dalyan itself was a great vacation town as well. Would recommend!

Wir waren zum 2ten Mal im Basar , dieses Mal hatten wir ein Deluxe Zimmer. Dieses Zimmer hat 5Sterne verdient, genau wie der komplette Service. Accueil chaleureux, la nourriture y est excellente, tout est fait maison, petit clin d'œil pour la confiture d orange, le personnel très sympathique , tout est fait pour qu on s'y sente bien, nous avions réserver pour une semaine et nous avons ajouté 4 jours. Excellent Holiday

Our first visit to the Dalyan Basar Hotel and definitely won't be our last. Excellent facilities, room clean. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was good with the option of an evening meal if required. Pool was clean with plenty of sunbeds. We are planning another trip to Dalyan next year and the hotel will be definitely top of our list

Best for this budget bracket in area

We know Dalyan quite well having stayed eight years straight although this is the first hotel stay. The hotel is about a 10 - 15 minute casual walk to the tourist town Centre. Is is split into two parts, each with a good sized pool. Pools open 8am - 7pm. Breakfast is buffet style Turkish so no big fry ups. Plenty of healthy food with fresh omelettes and pancakes cooked in front of you. Orange juice is chargeable but everything else included. Cooked lunch type Snacks, chips, spaghetti etc are available at during the day. Rooms are cleaned daily. Sunbeds are hard and show sign of being well used but are perfectly adequate for the job. There are sun umbrellas at the main hotel pool but none at the second pool which is just about totally exposed all day. Our room had two queen beds. A hairdryer and a very small fridge. No tea or coffee making facilities. There was a small outside balcony type area with two plastic and one plastic table. The staff were all very pleasant. I would stay again without hesitation.

Perfect holiday
