"The Bunkhouse is accurately described as "rustic" but very comfortable and has its own special charm. The property and views were absolutely lovely. We arrived during a spring thunder and lightening storm that was so exciting but was quickly over and we were treated to a stunning sunset thru the forest! The Bunkhouse has a super effective wood pellet stove so we were warm and comfy throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom shower had good water pressure and stocked with ample towels, soap/shampoo/conditioner. The bathroom faucet could use some work as it was rather difficult to turn the handles for both hot/cold . This should be an easy fix, however. The kitchen was a good size for 3 of us. The little frig was OK since we were only there for a cpl days. The microwave was perfect for heating soup and scones. We absolutely enjoyed staying at the bunkhouse but please understand it is a historic structure and very rustic. The hosts, Kristin and her husband Raymond were very responsive and gracious!"

"The Zen Garden is fabulous. Breakfast is very nice with booths and/or tables and lots of choices. It is so nice to stay in a hotel that thinks of everything to make your stay more comfortable. Our go-to-place-to-stay when we visit family here. "

"Don’t know if personal but the manager was extremely rude. I had traveled all night and tried to check in around 1:30 and was refused as if I came everyday trying to check in early. Place was pretty empty but I understand policy. Later the front desk gal had mentioned they were in desperate need of housekeepers so I made a point to talk with same manager when she came back on staff and she very rudely the next day said no we already fill all those positions. Stayed for few days and overall was ok experience with the rest of staff. Was very clean and the rest of staff was very nice or helpful. Had gal outside my room very loudly speaking on speaker phone for hrs in parking lot and lots of traffic upstairs. Am avid traveler and this is only complaint I left at any hotel in years. They do allow dogs and cats. One of only a few in like 20mile radius that allows cats."

"Yes the staff was very friendly and the parking lot was well cleanrd with ample parking, the complimentary breaskfast was very good with lots of options and fresh, .y two year old granddaughter really enjoyed the blueberry mifgins and waffle choices "
