"The listing indicated pets were welcome and we were able to bring our 13 year old dog, who loves traveling with my husband and I. There was some initial confusion after we booked the Schoolhouse, saying pets are prohibited. Through contact with the host, it was cleared up pretty quickly. "Our stay here was outstanding. The house was clean, spacious, and close to many shops/restaurants. Our first evening we spent in downtown Winchester which was an easy drive from the home. The next day was spent at the Virginia Scottish Games, about 35 minutes away. The house was definitely worth the stay! We had a great time. It was even one of the best smelling houses we had ever rented! 100% recommend and would stay again. "

"Comfortable and nice layout for group of nine friends during extended wine tasting weekend. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked as we do most of our cooking on these types of outings. Communication with owner was timely and responsive. Even the wildlife (deer, woodchuck, bunnies, etc.) were fun to watch as we relaxed on the back porch. All-in-all, a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful part of Virginia. "

"The front desk clerk was friendly and personable! She went out of her way to accommodate all my requests! The room was clean and smelled good! The hotel was a little older but repairs had been made. Parking was a breeze and the heat was wonderful on a cold, snowy night! Hot water was also pleasing, I’ve been to several hotels in the past that it was always a problem early in the morning and I was so happy when I turned it on, each time I had wonderful hot water. The breakfast was good and the orange juice was real,the coffee was very good and hot! The only negative comment I can make is that the mattress on the bed was a little too hard for my liking, but I was so comfy that that didn’t bother me! All together, I had a great experience and I will always stay there when I’m in town. Thank you Baymont!’"
