The place was ok. However, there was a slight smell of Chinese food in the room. Breakfast was minimal. Quiet. Rather annoying was a $3 charge for parking. This was for an outside parking lot like any small town hotel would have.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The manager visited us and told us about the high standards he sets for the hotel, and they lived up to it. The staff were friendly and responsive to questions and needs. Good hot breakfast options, especially for the price. I would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it.

Excellent for my short vacation stay.

Brief stay for a vacation to local mountain attractions (Linville Cavern and the like). Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff that was quick to answer questions and give recommendations when asked. Slightly tricky entrance from the main road, but plenty of parking when we stayed. Hardwood floors in the first-floor room I had, which I prefer. Easy access to main roads.
