The staff were friendly! It was a nice, quiet hotel. It’s dog-friendly but there wasn’t any chaos. The mini-fridge in the room had a proper freezer and wasn’t the cheaper sort that are only meant to cool drinks, which I appreciated. The showers only have one liner which was a surprise, and the bathroom fan was a bit noisy, but there are quirks to any older hotel. Overall, it was a great stay for the money!

We travel to Marion several times a year to visit family. Many of the hotels in the area are dumps. Baymont is the exception. In my most recent trip I had to extend my stay twice and the the front desk clerk, Valerie, was super helpful in working through a couple of reservations issues
