Marina Shopping Village

Positives: *The aparthotel is in an excellent position, beachfront & close to lots of restaurants/facilities. *It was a huge bonus to be allocated a parking space in a safe and secure area. *The large balcony was appreciated, as were the stunning views. Negatives: * The apartment was not very clean. The windows had been wiped in a circular motion with an unclean cloth as opposed to a squeegee so at dusk/dawn all you could see from inside was dirty windows. * There was soap scum around the taps in the basin and when attempting to use the coffee plunger, it was greasy and dusty. No tongs, lack of kitchen eqp. * There were renovation works in the apt above that we were not made aware of until after check in. Due to this, there were dust panels in the lift. Every time we got in the lift, the children would walk out with dust up the back of their shirts. The noise on one particular day was so bad we had to leave (notices were put in the lift the evening before) * The keyring on the front door key stated that it gave us membership to the surf club next door which meant 15% discount on food/drink. After ordering all the food for our family, we were advised the membership had lapsed 4 months earlier due to change of ownership. It was just mis-leading and inconvenient. * We frequently bumped into others in the lift who said hello. It was until we checked out, we realised the elderly couple were actually the host. It would have been really nice if they had introduced themselves.

We had a fantastic stay at Chevron Renaissance - WOWSTAY Gold Coast.The location is unbeatable close to everything you need, from dining to shopping and the beach. ​The property itself was wonderful. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The only small addition that would have made it absolutely perfect for us would be a small rice cooker in the kitchen. ​The only downside to our experience was the check-in process. Finding the resident carpark and collecting the keys turned out to be quite a bit of a hassle and took longer than expected. Clearer instructions or smoother access would definitely improve the arrival experience. ​Overall, we loved our time here and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the Gold Coast.

Great service and location. Room has a great view, tidy, clean and new. We all love there. Super recommended. I will choose there next time as well.
