The cabin was adorable. It was so cozy and exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries for the holidays. The owners are above and beyind amazing, Johnny came out all on his own after work in the freezing cold to make sure that the hot tub was going to be good for us! The whole place shows how much they care about their guests and we are definitely going to visit again!
I enjoyed my stay here this summer! The property is comfortable and beautiful. It’s also close to restaurants and stores in case you forget anything (like I did!). Thank you for a relaxing vacation!
We loved our stayed here and wish we could’ve stayed longer! It was the perfect size for two adults and our dogs. The amenities were appreciated, and everything was exactly as listed. The cabin was clean and cozy. Thank you!
The cabin was cozy and nice to stay in. A few issues with internet, bugs, and kitchen lacking utensils needed. Overall, it was good for a little getaway.
The cabin was very comfortable very neat very well taken care of. Everything was there like it was said to be they even had few items that in case you forgot yours so you didn’t have to go out and buy them. Which was greatly appreciated very pet friendly. This was the second time we stayed on the owners property really enjoy. It will definitely go back again.
Really nice place for a small getaway, good location and size for a couple. For the most part it is nice and clean just could use a little better bug control by sealing all windows and doors. She had great hospitality and communication throughout our stay although i was promised a refund because of an inconvenience and have not received one yet which i don’t appreciate. Although we would stay here again because its an overall great place to stay

Nice enough...
Our stay was fine and the place was quiet and clean. It had what we needed. My only disappointment was the size and location. The pictures made the cabin look much larger and like it was tucked in the woods. It's just off the road, behind a house, with 2 other small cabins, so I wouldn't say that is too private. However, I am from the country and my home is much more secluded than this, so maybe I am just picky. I'm sure you would think it is great if you're coming from the city.
We loved the scenery of the property, the inside of the cabin was nice and it was very beautiful and peaceful outside, Our only problem was we didn’t have internet connection to anything in the cabin and communicated this to the property owner the first day, the property owner contacted us back only once and never answered us again, we stayed over the whole weekend with no internet and no help, it’s very disappointing that the property owner never contacted me back again at all.
The cabin and area was wonderful get away. Really liked the size of cabin and amenities. We even got to build a campfire and enjoyed it in 20 degrees temperatures.
We traveled the one day north to see wildlife, like Elk. It was amazing.
Some suggested improvements for the owners.
1) Improve the internet. It was spotty with weak signal.
2) Cabin was semi cool. Ran electric heaters high. bathroom heater kept tripping the breaker. Had to unplug a few things from one outlet to keep from tripping.
3) Timely and frequent communication in beginning can be improved. I never rented through Vrbo. Wasn't sure I would have a well planned trip. I have traveled a lot in my career and maybe expected similar email or text messaging updates.
All in all a grerat trip.

Clean cute cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at these cute little cabins! It’s about ten minutes away from Cooks forest. On the way to the property the property manager texted me and said a window had broken and she was ‘upgrading us’ to a property five minutes away. When we arrived it was basically five cabins in a ring next to each other and she moved us again to another cabin. The cabin itself was very clean and cute, all the necessary things were present. Also nice that there was firewood included. When we left we accidentally left a bag and despite the property manager’s text message that I could reach out for any questions or concerns, she completely ghosted me regarding my missing bag for over 24 hours despite multiple texts and calls. I even reached out to her over VRBO and heard nothing. That was disappointing and for the reason we would not return.
The cabin was quiet and clean. It was a peaceful weekend stay and my partner and I enjoyed the down time. The hot tub is a perfect fit for two, and being by the woods is wonderful. Also, the sheets are so soft. There are some great hikes very close to town.
Nice little cabin close to Cook Forest. Fairly quiet minus the nearby sawmill. Host was wonderful, gave some local information, responds quickly, very easy check in and out.
Very cozy, well decorated cottage. The host answered immediately when I had a couple of questions. The hot tub was very warm and relaxing, but I was surprised that it didn't have jets. Good for 2 people.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin had everything we needed. The location was great for visiting Cooks Forest State Park and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again.
So relaxing and even nicer in person! My only complaint would be that I wish the dog poop was picked up in the yard, but it was extremely clean on the inside!
Brittany was a very good host. We stayed in one of her lovely cabins. Brittany went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The gigantic Sasquatch on the property as well as the axe throwing made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything in the cabin was provided from shampoo to a multiple spice rack. The property was beautiful and well maintained.
