Welcome to Carpe Artes, a home that celebrates creativity, play, and connection in the heart of Margaret River’s bushland. Set on eight private acres and designed with families in mind, this beautiful and peaceful retreat blends modern luxury with a touch of whimsy—complete with its own treehouse-style cubby, flying fox, sandpit, slide, climbing walls, and swings. It’s a paradise for children—and a secret delight for adults too.

Just three minutes from Surfers Point and ten minutes from town, Carpe Artes offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Nearby cycle and walk trails link you directly to Gnarabup Beach, the White Elephant Café, and The Common Bistro, making it easy to explore the coast and unwind with a coffee or glass of wine by the sea. From its elevated position, the home enjoys peaceful views stretching toward the Indian Ocean, creating a true sense of calm and escape.

As part of the Carpe Luxury Escapes collection, Carpe Artes sits alongside Carpe Vino and Carpe Mykonos, forming a private 24-acre enclave of architect-designed homes. Each property enjoys its own eight acres of bushland and shares access to a private tennis court and pavilion—a peaceful setting for a friendly hit surrounded by towering trees and native birdlife. Racquets and balls are provided.

Inside, the home is stylish, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, with natural tones and large windows that frame both the surrounding forest and glimpses of the ocean beyond.

The open-plan living area features a 65-inch TV, European slow-combustion wood heater for cosy winter nights, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and a children’s TV nook in the bunk room. All bedrooms include ceiling fans for year-round comfort.

The modern chef’s kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking, with a large fridge/freezer, oven, electric cooktop, microwave, and coffee machine. Essentials such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, and sugar are provided, along with plastic wrap, foil, paper towels, serviettes, sponges, dishwashing liquid, and tea towels. The dining table seats eight, and the large outdoor deck is perfect for barbecues and sunset drinks as the light fades across the trees and ocean beyond. Soft lighting along the driveway enhances the tranquil bushland atmosphere after dark.

All linen and towels are professionally laundered, and the laundry includes a washing machine, dryer, and detergent for guest use.

Surrounded by walking trails and wildlife, Carpe Artes is a place to slow down and reconnect with nature. Kangaroos often graze at sunrise and sunset, while the Margaret River Golf Club, Cape Mentelle, and a wealth of local wineries and restaurants are all just minutes away.

We drove to Margaret River to see the spectacular beaches and to do some wine tasting and little did we know that the Margaret River Pro Drug Aware surf competition was on - so one morning we parked up really early at 7am and watched the ladies surf the whole day! It was absolutely phenomenal! And the event was for free too :) awesome right?! Also very stoked to have taken a photo with the winner of the men's competition: De Souza. Beautiful home in the trees

What a beautiful place in Margaret River. Gorgeous views of the surrounding bush land. Very quiet area made noisy by the fantastic flying fox! Very new, well appointed, stunning place!
