"We stayed at the house for a week with a group of 9 friends. The house itself was great! We were kindly welcomed by Jean Pierre who gave us some great tips on what to do in the area. The ruins of Donzy are nice to visit, and the hilly region is beautiful to walk through. Otherwise there is little to do for tourists in Panissières itself, it's just a regular French village. Luckily there are large cities (Lyon and Saint-Etienne) within a one hour drive. The same goes for the Beaujolais wine...

"Un séjour extraordinaire grâce au fabuleux logement. Moi qui suis pénible sur l'hygiène à chaque vacances , comme ça faisait hyper plaisir de poser nos valises dans cet appartement très propre, et qui sentait très bon. Nous avons pu nous ressourcer ,avant de poursuivre nos vacances dans le sud, dans ce logement bien calme avec des bons matelas pour un bon sommeil. De plus, l'hôte était toujours très réactive. Je commande vivement ce lieu pour tous ceux qui recherchent l'hygiène, et le calme ....

"We were in this object in august 2023. The owner was very friendly. His house is really wonderful - great pool, big garden, kitchen with all kind of accesories, beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds, very tastefull and modernly furnished. When we had questions, the owner answered immediately. We would come back anytime."

"We had a fantastic stay here in the house and used the pool a lot! A great halfway point between Calais and Nice if driving down. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. When we stayed the temperature was over 30 degs outside but it did not feel too warm inside which was helpful. The property has a huge garden with swings and a play house which was fun for the kids to use. "Belle maison familiale avec terrain de pétanque billard baby foot pour d’excellents moments en famille. Les alentours sont agréables avec de jolies promenades. La maison est spacieuse avec des pièces rénovée et d’autres moins mais l’ensemble est agréable pour un week-end en famille "

"Seamless check in - polite & v pleasant staff member on reception who gave us information & directions with regard to charging the car & places to eat as it was a Sunday night & not many places open. Excellent large room ideal for us travelling with our dog. Dog bowls & toy also provided in the room which was a nice touch along with a complimentary bottle of water & well stocked coffee & tea facilities. Good to have the green tea option too which is often missed. Room was comfortable - the only slight negativity was the air conditioning which did little to cool down the room but it was a minor thing. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but it was on offer. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was small but clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The area doesn't have any public transport, but I was meeting friends who live nearby and have a car so that wasn't an issue for me. The on-site restaurant was closed over the weekend, which was unexpected and I would have like to have been informed about this before booking, but it was easy enough to order food on Uber Eats. So if was fine. "
