Great Stay but could use some minor fixesa
Overall the stay was great, we had a good time and the location and amenities were just what we needed. There was lots of little details the hosts thought of like keurigs and coffee in both houses, plenty of cooking and serving dishes, kayaks and other water sport supplies, etc.Unfortunately there were a few small issues with our stay, there’s a sprinkler system in the yard hooked up to the septic system, and there was a slight sewage smell when they went off, which was pretty frequently. By the end of our stay there was also a sewage smell in the bunkhouse. I’m not sure if there was some kind of septic issue or something because one of the toilets also backed up. They used ring doorbells on both of the main cabins, in addition to a camera on one of the floodlights facing the fire pit area. Personally I find cameras on rental properties somewhat invasive, but i guess they’re pretty standard. There was plenty of parking on property, but the trees around the uncovered parking could use a trim, they were scraping cars on the way in. The bedrooms are not properly set up on the vrbo listing, there are four bedrooms total, one bedroom with a king, one with a queen, and another two bedrooms that each have a queen, a pull out couch, and a bunk bed made up of a full and a twin.
