  • This Villa has a CALIFORNIA KING BED in the Master Bedroom & a Queen Bed in the guest room plus Queen Sleeper Sofa in Living Room .......We offer The Cabana Club in Key Colony Beach for your stay, a short ride south which has a Large Pool, Beach, Tiki Bar & Grill for our guests... Email for details in securing passes for your stay...Our guests do not have access to the pool/lagoon areas & kids club amenities at the Resort. We offer a 35 Foot Boat Slip (optional) located in Lake Lucille (resort small boat basin) approximately 200 yards from our Villa. Local Attractions include the Dolphin Research Center, Sea Aquarium & Turtle Hospital. Local beaches to visit include Curry Hammock, Long Key, Sombrero Beach & Bahia Honda State Park. Enjoy the view of lush palm trees surrounding the villa from an upper and lower deck and walk a few short steps to the beautiful turquoise waters where you can jump on your boat from your dock rental or just stroll the dock and perhaps see a Manatee....

    We have provided everything you need for your vacation or time away. Two bedrooms upstairs, each bedroom with its own private bath. We provide beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels.

    Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals to enjoy on your outside deck. There is also a dining area with seating for six and living area with 55-inch flat screen smart TV with cable.

    We are located at Mile Marker 61 at The Village at Hawks Cay on Duck Key between Islamorada and Marathon. Both towns offer many great restaurants and shopping. You can also swim with the Dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center or at Theater by the Sea as well as at the Hawks Cay Resort. Key West is only 61 miles south making it a great day trip for culture, food, and shopping.

Beautiful property. Excellent location, midway between Key Largo and Key West. Well maintained property, yard, trees and setting out on the porch was so relaxing. Toured up and down through the Keys and was so awesome to come back to such a comforting place felt just like home!

Great place to stay in the Keys

We enjoyed our stay at Hawk’s Cay on Duck Key. The townhouse was clean, comfortable, and accurately described in the listing. It is located in a convenient part of the resort and was relatively quiet. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had ceiling fans, which was a nice bonus. The bathrooms are small but well equipped. The kitchen was also well equipped. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was another bonus. The host provided accurate and timely information and instructions and was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break at Hawk’s Cay

Hawk’s Cay is such a beautiful resort, everything is impeccably maintained. We enjoyed our stay in the Villa- very well taken care of and comfortable home, and conveniently located on the property. Duck Key is in a great location- it is close to Islamorada and Marathon, tons to do nearby. The only downside is not being able to use the pools or play areas (sand courts, etc) on property. Which is stated in the listing- this was as advertised. It was tough with kids to see the places on site, but not be able to go. That being said, we had a fantastic time snorkeling, boating, exploring and eating all of the delicious food in The Keys! The home is lovely and the owner’s are very responsive to questions. I would definitely recommend!

Unit was well kept. Clean. As described. Beautiful back porch and plenty of outside furniture to enjoy outdoor deck. Convenient 4 min walk to marina and boat dockage. Resort area has great amenities which we never had time to enjoy because we were out on the boat the whole time. Unit has washer dryer and dishwasher which were very needed. Fully equipped kitchen and full supply of linens and towels and basics like soap, TP, detergent for washer and pods for dishwasher. Great place. Would rent it again . Donna was a great host and was good with communications. The area is convenient to launch and access both the bay and ocean pretty easily and quickly. We did both multiple times during our stay.

Wonderful host - great area for family

This property has everything for family to enjoy the keys. We had a quiet villa with very communicative host, when needed. Set away from the touristy areas, we had the ability to get to populated areas in less than 15mins. Our just have us great suggestions, and I would add on a few family areas we discovered- mini golf, turtle and dolphin rehabilitation ctrs, great food all within a short drive. We stopped at Publix in Marathon and loaded up for cooking at the villa, and reserved one meal out each day. The amenities for our stay were all updated and clean. Our host also left detailed instructions for our stay/ clean up and check out. I was concerned about the keys being a “party/ college” environment, but was pleasantly surprised with the villas atmosphere and visible security and grounds community. They were top notch. It’s was all quiet at night and very relaxing. I recommend this property for anyone looking for an enjoyable place to stay and relax.

Friends Annual Keys Fishing and Chillin’ Trip

The owners are 5 star! The villa is conveniently located to the main Hawks Cay lodge as well as the Angler & Ale Restaurant and docks. The unit is clean, comfortable and accommodates 4 adults with everything you need for a relaxing, fun filled getaway. If you plan ahead, like we always do when coming to the Keys, I suggest you stop at Publix and stock up on any food, drinks and extras (shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, etc) that you may want while on property as it’s about a 25 min drive to the closest grocery store and that’s during non-peak season. This is not a complaint just a friendly suggestion for anyone not familiar with the area. The Cabana Club at Key Colony was well worth the money for the use of the gorgeous pool, beach, food, drinks and hospitality. As couples who frequent the Keys and have stayed everywhere from Isla Bella, Hawks Cay, Cheeca Lodge and multiple other locations, I would rate this location as high as all of these properties and at a definitely better rate. We will be back!

Host was very welcoming, caring and honest. The property was well appointed and clean. The economics worked well for me as the villa was substantially discounted, because not all resort amenities are available. Those amenities are readily available all over the place, and this deal comes with a Cabana Club membership.
