My family and I didn’t spend a lot of time inside, but everything was clean, there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms, and we found anything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable with plenty of room for our party of eight.
Most all of our time at the property was spent outdoors. There is a great area underneath the main structure, with a table and bench, grill, TV and a small heated pool. We really enjoyed being able to be outside, grill a burger and watch bowl games. Just a few steps through a gate from there was a shared beach area where we fished from the dock, tossed way too many games of Cornhole while consuming way too many drinks, or simply sat and enjoyed watching the boats, jet skiers and even a couple of dolphins play in the ocean.
We were in walking distance from a great Cuban sandwich, a good cup of coffee, and a marina where we could catch a snorkeling charter or rent watercraft. The turtle hospital is at the end of the road and it is funded almost entirely by admissions and purchases. Make sure you stop by.
Jessica was the final part of our stay that made everything easy. She met us at check-in and was attentive without being overbearing and always very responsive with anything I needed. My family and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
