「The location was the only good thing about it. It said parking on the property, but it was in front of the house. We parked in the empty lot next door. There was trash in the bedroom and the bathroom shower walls were dirty. She sent the cleaning lady over, but she said it was stained. There was pink soap down the side of shower and the whole bottom was terrible. We were glad the bedroom had air but she said it couldn’t be lower than 24 which is 75 f to warm in already stifling hot weather....

「This place was awesome! It was a perfect location to Monteverde. We definitely recommend doing Abuela’s breakfast in the morning. The host was really responsive and the sunset over the Lou twins was beautiful. My 8 year-old daughter loved the park. It was a perfect place for her to run around, especially after a few hours in the car. The home was beautiful with easy check-in/out instructions. We would 100% stay again. 」

「The property itself was quite nice and the beach is great. However, we were battling cockroaches the entire time. We probably killed around 12 roaches. And we left bread on the counter for an afternoon and it was covered in tiny bugs. This is our mistake too, but the bugs were just too overwhelming. The owner is very kind and communicative. The only downside is the war on bugs during our stay.」

As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. 「The home was nestled in the trees just like the pictures. The wildlife is right outside your door. You feel like your living in the trees. The place can be a bit hard to find but the host sent me a video and excellent directions that made it easier. The main town is a quick drive to restaurants, the forest and shopping. "Everything was perfect!! we attended 3 tours (night tour, FICUS, Birds Quest) and they also amazing. Hotel Service also nice, always clean and at night time, the room was already turned into dark (curtains were closed) before we went back. I definitely recommend my friends and family to stay!"
