First and foremost, these hosts are really exceptional. They’re so friendly, responsive and went out of their way multiple times to ensure we had a great stay. The views are incredible, quiet and peaceful. The beds are so comfortable and soft. When we arrived, everything was very clean. There’s a fully stocked coffee bar, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Their private dock has great lighting and stations for cleaning fish. Floating dock made having our boat there super convenient and enjoyable for morning and evening fishing. The outdoor kitchen with an adjoining hot tub and fire pit… photos do not do it justice. Also, important to note that even though we didn’t have children with us this time, the owners have taken great caution to kid proof the house, which is a really nice thought on their part. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat, easily my favorite vrbo and hosts yet! 10 out of 10

We’ve stayed in Toledo several times, and after looking at the reviews for this property i knew it would be smooth. However, this particular listing and the owners went above and beyond. We had a couple of personal requests, and they came through and were super cool and incredibly generous. I usually like to “house hop” when we vacation so the experience is fun for myself and our family, but i have no doubt we will be coming back to this house. We never once cooked inside, the outside had several options. The kids used the jacuzzi all three nights, we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit and cooked every meal besides frying fish, on the black stone. The boathouse/dock has plenty of room for several people to fish off of it/ a fan to cut the heat/ plenty of lighting and seating, and security gates that have to be unlocked to down to the floating docks. In the mornings, my husband and i would go sit on the swing on the dock and watch the wood ducks come into the lily pads to feed. We even got a visit from at least 15 geese that came to eat in yard next door. It was just a great time. Nice deep bathtub and a nice shower in the other bathroom. All beds were incredibly comfortable. Like I said, we will definitely be back and thank you guys so much!!!

Our family of 6 had a great time! The house had plenty of room and was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The outside, from the kitchen to the dock, was perfect! The owners were awesome to communicate with. We can't wait to book again!

We had an absolute blast! My husband and I went with his parents and our 3 young children. They fished right off the boat house and caught so many bream. The swing on the boathouse was perfect for a cup of coffee or cold beer. The house was immaculate and included the patio of your dreams with everything needed for a good fish fry. The owners were more than accommodating and checked on us to see if we were okay and give tips with fishing and so much more. We set jug lines not far from the house and caught a few huge catfish plus the water was clean and great for swimming. We can’t wait to go back next summer!

Really enjoyed our stay. Home was as advertised and had everything you need. We brought our own spices and charcoal for cooking but didn’t need it, they had it fully stocked. Had a little rain during our stay but the covered boat dock allowed us to fish anyway. Spent most of the time outside at the boathouse or in the outdoor kitchen which was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the best place we’ve stayed in the area. The interior was impeccably clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.The outdoor space was exceptional—perfectly designed for group gatherings. We appreciated the variety of cooking amenities, including a Blackstone griddle, burner, fryer, and BBQ pit, all of which saw regular use. The patio setup, complete with an outdoor TV, made it ideal for cooking and catching the LSU game. The spacious dock was another highlight—an excellent spot to enjoy evening drinks, and even some on-site fishing (we caught a few bass right off the dock!). The location is conveniently close to a grocery store, which made errands effortless.The hosts were a pleasure to interact with—friendly, responsive, and attentive. They took the time to stop by, introduce themselves, and check in to ensure everything was going smoothly.Overall, a top-notch experience from start to finish. We’re already planning our return visit!

Just stayed there for 4 nights with family and friends. Total of 6 guys. We were extremely pleased with the home, as well as the boat house. House was very clean. The owners came by and visited with us, and were very friendly and even offered us ice from their home. We will definitely be booking this place upon our next trip to Toledo Bend.

Lsu get away

If your looking for the ultimate lsu camp. This is it! On gameday or night the outdoor kitchen is on point!!! From the tv that swivels out to the patio to the outdoor burners this place as everything you need to enjoy game day. Outdoor kitchen is the best.

Great place with great service

AWESOME PLACE

This place is awesome. The accomodations were fantastic. The beds were comfortable. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Only 2 miles from a full market and bait shop. The owners checked daily to make sure everything was ok. Very impressive! Cant wait to go back.

Peaceful Palace

This was a must for us as an older couple to get away and just reconnect, and this was the perfect place. Everything was spotless and the scenery was gorgeous. The hot tub was so relaxing and with it being recessed into the deck, it was more accommodating for my handicapped husband. We laughed about everything being fit for a giant, and all the TCU decors. I think someone in the family must be very tall and played sports at TCU! I even said Geaux Tigers a time or two, (and I am from Texas!) The owners don't live very far away, they came by to see if we had any questions not long after we arrived and were available throughout our stay. Thank you for the care you have put into this vacation home.

The Best

This cabin met our expectations, hands down! Host was nearby and quickly answered our questions. The outdoor covered kitchen/bar area is ideal in any weather situation. We made a fire each day and cooked steaks/burgers on it. Dock is spacious and covered. We will be back Jack.

2024 Big Bass Splash

The location was excellent. Upon arrival, the hosts greeted me and explained the layout and rules. The hosts were exceptional and very helpful. The lake house was perfect for watching college baseball while cooking and enjoying the outdoors. One of my best experiences renting on the lake!

Great place with great host!

Perfect place on the water in a safe quiet neighborhood. Really nice boat house with boat lift and pontoon lift. House and outdoor kitchen had everything you need. Beds and furniture were clean and very comfortable. Our favorite place that we have found on toledo bend and only a couple of miles to Toledo town. Lookin forward to our next trip.

A Perfect Home Away from Home

This home was everything I could have asked for in a vacation rental! 100% will stay again. The home was large enough for my sister's family of 5 to spend a few days with us comfortably. The property is large and the paved driveway was great for riding bikes on and parking multiple vehicles. The neighborhood is quiet. We spent a lot of time on the dock/boathouse enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake. There were countless hours spent fishing from the boathouse. The outdoor kitchen was an amazing bonus, especially the griddle and extra fridge! Having a covered area to be outside but out of the rain and/or sun was also very nice! Star gazing is spectacular! We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire pit. The beds were comfy, the water pressure is great, the home and contents were clean, the kitchen is stocked with essentials. Any and all questions were answered quickly by the hosts. All of the creature comforts we could have asked for were available, including spices and condiments that eliminated at least one store run! There was even wood for the fire pit! I am absolutely looking forward to my next vacation at Toledo Bend and working with Mr. Sanders & Co. again!

Amazing waterfront property

This house and all of its amenities is amazing! The host was very ptoactive and made sure everything was ready for use before pur arrival. Every cabnet and drawer is fully stocked with whatever you need. The outdoor kitchen, fire pit and hot tub area is amazing. My only regret is I didnt book this location for a longer stay.
