「The complimentary drink on arrival was a nice touch. Dinner was superb」

「Always great easy walking to town centre. Local amenities. Stayed here a few times now. Only comment restaurant not open on a Monday evening and most local eateries are closed」

「Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area.」

「Check in was confusing and somewhat disruptive due to booking through Expeida. At first I was told by reception that I had not paid and that I owed the full amount £45.00. I went to my room . About ten minutes later whilst in the bathroom reception knocked on my door and said that I need to contact Expedia to sought the payment, he showed me a contact text on his phone from Expedia. 「Non-contact hotel offering good facilities for stay in Oakham. Comfy bed, very nice washroom and basic appliances. Good value for money」

「I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but I was warmly welcomed with a smile, which I truly appreciated. They kindly shared information about local shops and sightseeing spots, which helped ease my worries about being in a new town for the first time. The building is old, but the room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. (Adjusting the bath water temperature was a bit of a challenge.) Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay.」

「very friendly staff but old equipment. Felt some strange smell in the room.」

「Great property and wonderful staff. Wish we could have stayed longer.」
