"This was a spectacular unit, from the view to the ability to spread out and enjoy the amenities including the beauty of the white sandy beach, the quiet pool and the view from the terrace every morning over breakfast, this was truly a one of a kind places to stay and we are so thankful to have gotten to experience playa Blancha here!"
Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort

"We stayed at the Los Sueños Marriott as a family and overall were satisfied, particularly for the rate we paid. Our family room was large, spacious, clean and well maintained, with a generous balcony. The balcony is shared with the neighbouring room but divided by furniture. Our view was of the rear/service area of one of the restaurants, which wasn’t particularly attractive but didn’t bother us. The air conditioning appeared fixed and couldn’t be adjusted. The arrival experience could be improved. We arrived at 2pm but had to wait until the official 4pm check-in, which feels quite late compared with many hotels. We didn’t receive a welcome drink or particularly warm reception, and limited information about the resort was provided. It was largely a case of finding things yourself through the app. Our booking included $80 resort credit per night, which was welcome, although food and drink are expensive so it doesn’t go far. We were also disappointed that many offers were limited to Marriott Platinum members; a happy hour for all guests would be a nice addition. Complimentary activities were a real positive, including 30-minute self-guided paddleboarding and kayaking. The pools are large and spacious. It’s a huge resort and clearly caters for corporate events, but this didn’t affect us. We visited in the July rainy season and enjoyed how quiet the hotel was. Overall, not our favourite hotel in Costa Rica, but a comfortable stay and reasonable value for the price we paid."

"Unit: Extremely large, which is great for big families. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and utensils. Everything works. The laundry machines in the unit work flawlessly. The bedrooms are great. The washrooms are great. The water pressure is decent - as per another review we had issues with low pressure of warm/hot water but honestly not a big deal in a 30 degree climate. Balcony is phenomenal and views are outstanding. The elevator is quite quick with no wait times. The pool (actually two pools connected by a slide) is not large but nice and clean. It is usually empty and my daughter enjoyed it greatly. Beach: Playa Blanca is crazy good. We’ve been all over Costa Rica on several occasions and have much to compare to. This is genuinely one of the best beaches I’ve been to ever, and probably the best in the country. Note that you DO NOT have access to the beach restaurant, restrooms, lounge chairs, etc. So be prepared to bring beach towels to lie on and whatnot for your comfort. Not a big deal, but I suppose it depends on the person. We brought an infant’s camping chair for our youngest and our oldest didn’t care to sit still. There is parking (for a steep fee) but since the unit is so close, it’s best to just walk. Fair warning - the hill is STEEP. 35 degree incline, probably. Best to take it sober…Would I stay here again? Yes!"

"We stayed one week at the Punta Leona home. The house was very clean, had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of outside seating to enjoy the pool and gorgeous sunsets! Our host, Wade was fantastic! Wade was very personable, quickly answered our questions, and provided several suggestions about excursions in the area. Our trip highlight was taking the one day cruise from Los Suenos to Tortuga Island where we had a wonderful experience. We snorkeled, swam and relaxed on the beautiful beach. The kids went on the banana boat ride and loved it! Another day the seven of us went zip lining not far from the home. We zip lined with the Carara Adventure Park Company and highly recommend them. Lastly, we recommend the Mangrove Monkey Tour and going to Manuel Antonio Park. Pura Vida!"

"We had never been to Costa Rica before so we didn’t know quite what to expect. Take the transportation from the airport. Once we got to the house, it was fabulous. The house is clean, and the staff are second to none. Every meal prepared for us was absolutely delicious. The views are spectacular and we very much enjoyed the infinity pool and the hot tub. The concierge service booked our excursions and arranged for transportation to pick us up at the house. We had 9 people in our group and created many beautiful memories for years to come. We very much hope to be able to come again and would definitely stay here again."
