The Station is a mere 3-4 minute walk from the Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, so it is conveniently. I opted for a slightly bigger room this time and was not disappointed as it had the "Hairspray" theme (yes, the John Waters movie). Since I was on the back, it was super-quiet and rather spacious. My only complaint was no fridge, but then again, Mannheim was so cold that the water and wine bottles on the window ledge stayed perfectly cold. Nice wine bar and good selection of local wines. I will definitely stay there again.

Good place for a business trip

Friendly staff, very good location just next to the train station, a few good restaurants around. Room was quite spacious and quiet. A fridge would have been useful, especially in summer, also a larger table and a real chair.

The Station is just a few hundred meters from the Mannheim Hbf yet is located on a side street and thus the location is nice and quiet. Rooms are small, quirkily decorated, but (importantly!) quite comfy. Include the breakfast in your reservation as it is VERY filling. I did not need to eat lunch! I will DEFINITELY stay there again if I am in Mannheim.

Das Staytion Urban City Hotel in Mannheim ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Reisende, die Wert auf ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis legen. Schon beim Betreten des Hotels spürt man die moderne und stilvolle Atmosphäre, die einen sofort willkommen heißt. Die Zimmer sind nicht nur sauber und komfortabel, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das stets bemüht ist, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Sehr praktikables Zimmer für eine Person. Das Ein- und Auschecken ging sehr schnell. Das Personal war auch nett. Das einzige Manko sind die Lampen. Die hängen relativ weit unten, auf Augenhöhe (ca 165cm). Deshalb fand ich die Lichtverhältnisse etwas unangenehm aber ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

Positiv: Tolle Idee sehr stylisch gute gelegen - freundliches Personal Zimmer coole Styls Kaffeemaschine vorhanden und alles was man benötigt incl einem tollen Duschgel Negativ: Zimmer hat keinen Schrank und wenig Stauraum Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel für Ein oder zwei Nächte. Es war sehr sauber und ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen

Günstige und absolut auskömmliche Unterkunft in Mannheim. Der Schreibtisch hat nicht mal die Tiefe einer DIN A4-Seite und ist daher zum Arbeiten eher ungeeignet. Frühstück im Schwesterhotel SYTE nebenan - spitze!

First of all, my boyfriend had some sharp wood piece from the floor stuck in his foot and I had to pull it out from his foot, and his foot was bleeding. The wood piece was obviously from the poor quality wooden floor
