"Everything about this motel was perfect. The flowers out front were gorgeous and so inviting. There were 2 chairs situated outside, not just 1 chair. The room was spotless. The bathroom was spotless and there was a non-slip mat for the shower. We were offered bags of ice for our cooler - free of charge. The bed was comfy. So many little extras in the room … coffee, tea, cookies, mints. If we ever travel across Canada again, we will plan to stay at the Lakeview Inn in Blind River!"

"Great view, very quiet, very peaceful. Didn’t use the air conditioner, as the breeze from being on the hill blew through the cottage. Loved the front balcony for morning coffee and reading. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 older teens to do their own thing."

"The property is beautiful and in a gorgeous location. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely return. My only complaint would be that there are a lot of rules to follow, some of which are common sense and don’t need to be mentioned. But in all my travels I’ve never encountered a condition where the guest is charged a $50 per hour fee for a LATE arrival (after 9:00pm). Since this is a contact free property, check in is via code, and no staff is needed to welcome you. The host was very pleasant and responsive to questions, but the whole atmosphere seemed more punitive than welcoming."

"Very beautiful location - great deck area for relaxing Very clean cottage The loft area was very cramped - entering and exiting the loft was cumbersome - my wife and I slept on the futon on the main floor The mattress in the loft was 6 inches wider than the bed frame - not an issue for us (see above) but if you did sleep up there it might be an issue I thought it was weird that I needed to state (at check-in) if I wanted bed linens and towels which was then an extra charge - never seen this before in my travels. Otherwise, great place to stay on a quiet lake"
