フィリピン旅行は治安を心配して今までは4☆~5☆ホテルを利用していましたが、今回初めて3☆の中で評価の高かったこちら(Durban)に宿泊してみました。結論から言いますと次回もこちらを利用したいと思います。❮壁が薄い、シャワーの湯量が少ない、インターネット接続はかなり悪い❯という点を価格の安さだと考えれば、❮セキュリティもそこそこ安心、タクシー利用100~300ペソでビックモール、カジノ、空港等に行ける❯コスパにとても優れたホテルだと思いました。特筆すべきはスタッフ皆さんの対応で親切丁寧かつフレンドリーでVery Good でした。
The staff don’t read explicit notes about the details of the specific request (e.g. room next to elevator, queen bed not double and single bed, etc). The wifi is terrible only reaching 0.6 mbps ave. And worst will dc you. The pillows were too stuffed and stiffed.

The property's architecture is interesting. It looks like a small museum or art gallery. We stayed in a suite, which was nice and cozy, but it didn't have any windows so it felt a bit claustrophobic.

The hotel website indicated the presence of a full restaurant which was closed during my stay.
There was constant noise from refurbishments ( hammering, drilling & grinding) including Sunday which often went on until 9pm.
There are no in room tea/coffee facilities and and morning coffee faculties were also unavailable.
I found a bedbug in my room.
I literally only reserved this Hotel because of the restaurant and in my opinion there has been a fundamental breach of contract requiring a full refund.
I will write a full and detailed complaint about this place shortly

Mabuhay! Thank you for your review Mr. John. It saddens us that you had this kind of experience during your stay and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. However, our restaurant was not close during your entire stay. You even ordered a coffee from them. The restaurant only transferred to the hotel lobby due to the on going refurbishments at the main dining area. A notice of renovation work was published in our expedia site for guest's reference when making reservation. This notice was published before we received your booking. You were also reminded about it upon check-in. We offered you room transfer to a room on the higher floor but you have declined. Since year 1984, we do not set-up any in-room coffee/tea for us to provide the best available rate to our guests and clients while they are in the city. List of room amenities are also provided in expedia site for reference. We also offered you an electric kettle but you also have declined. Hotel Durban is known as one of the cleanest accommodation establishments in the city. This has been our first time that a bedbug was seen in the room by the guest. Our staff immediately cleaned your room in your presence but did not found any bedbug. We also did not receive any bedbug complaint from the guests who stayed in the same room before and after your stay. Nevertheless, we thank you for continuing your stay with us for 6 nights and again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Rest assured that your concerns will be raised to our management as this will help us improve our services. We look forward in having you here again! Salamat Po.
