「This was better than expected. The motel/hotel is older but was clean and had the basics. Minor gripes are there was no showerhead on the shower, beds were hard, and our room (33) had a long set of stairs to access. The restaurant was very nice; we had supper and breakfast there; good food and reasonable. The woman at reception was kind off-ish and had to understand. 「We only stayed 1 night here but it was excellent for us. We got a corner room on the second floor, 2 queen size beds. Everything was very clean. It is a smaller hotel so not a lot of plugs but it's easy to see if you want to use the coffee maker, you just unplug the the tv. Even with the ferry just a short way down the road it actually was very quiet. If I were in the area again and needed a place to sleep for the night I would stay there again. We went for supper at the ChantMartin down...

「It's very convenient, the room was clean, the coffee was always stocked, the staff is very nice, we were able to plug in our hybrid vehicle. On the downside, because it is on the main street, there tends to be a fair amount of street noise. Our room was on the ground floor and there were no windows, just a sliding door that opened out onto a little patio on the street side, so if you wanted fresh air, you also got more street noise.」
