「Our holiday in Casa do Batocal was truly excellent. Paula is the best host you could hope for and the welcome she gives is outstanding. The outside area is lovely and we spent most of our time there enjoying the pool, playing table tennis and cooking meals.Even without air conditioning, the inside of the house remained relatively cool throughout the day and was a pleasant temperature at night.」

「I can highly recommend the house and the super friendly welcome by the owners. The cottage is cosy and very well equipped, there is a covered summer kitchen in the courtyard and lovely sunbathing areas on the lawn. Everything is well kept and clean. The house is secluded in the middle of fields, olive groves and vineyards. You can take beautiful walks directly from the house. The very little frequented motorway is easy to reach and you can easily get to other places: e.g. to the many castle...
