1. Booked through Orbitz but Mammoth Reservation Burea did not enter the booking into their system. Could not find it when we reached there for check-in. We were told that the reservation email came after-hours and hence wasn't entered (seriously?).
2. The place was not ready due to above. We were made to wait so that it can be cleaned.
3. We were handed keys so that we can enter upon phone-call confirmation by the management that the place is ready. The key did not work cause they gave us a patio closet key and not the main entry key. :|
4. The place is run by a bunch of kids, literally- who had no clue of running a service or authority to make decisions.
5. There was no internet in the place. Orbitz advertises that "Wifi is included".
6. There was no coffee in the place. All other supplies n condiments were available. When I called to ask I was told that I should bring my own coffee.
7. There was a fish hook in the bathroom floor mat which poked my husband.
8. We booked 2 king beds and a sofa bed. We got only 1 king bed, 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. Orbitz should correct the listing.
9. In all fairness, the condo was sufficient, well located and well stocked (except for the coffee).

Interesting circumstances
I went online and booked a condo, then received an urgent email saying it was not available. I called Hotels.com and was given a different condo—La Vista Blanc. My reservations were changed. When I arrived in Mammoth and went to pick up the keys, there was no record of my reservation. I showed the woman my confirmation, she investigated, and said she had notified Expedia that The unit at La Vista Blanc was not available. Mammoth Reservations found us a different unit and said they would settle with Expedia. I’m fortunate that I arrived before the office closed so that we had a place to stay.

If I could go into negative I would
The reservation wasn’t at the property!!! After 2.5 hours on the phone in the middle of the night during snow storm- we were put into a motel room! For the second night we were offered one bed motel room.
We booked 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen - to sleep max of 6!
I’m expecting a full refund of the charges ASAP

Snow was great, Cabin was decent
It was an ok condo. Nothing too special. The beds were clean but not most comfortable. I would stay there again but would not pay the same price!

Cozy Ski Condo
Loved the interior decorating. The place was very cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Electric blankets worked on one bed but really did not need them because the heaters crank out the heat. Water did not heat in one shower so the 4 of us took turns using the other shower. Jacuzzi was perfect temperature. It is enclosed on 3 sides, which is nice. Parking lot was quickly cleared after a snow.

Good value.
Owners thought of everything but WiFi. That is a must. Take out the land line and use that $$ for Internet.
