This has to be one of the worst experiences we've had to endure. Upon arrival, one of the first things we do is check the toilets to make sure they are properly working. When we checked the toilets, the toilet in the master bathroom was clogged and would not flush at all. We immediately contacted Vacasa and they stated that there was nothing they could do till the following day after 9:00am. We were told that a plumber would be sent out the following day. We also contacted VRBO and requested to be moved to a new rental. They said our case would be escalated and they would contact us back so we could be moved. We never heard back from VRBO again.
The following day, we sat around all day waiting for the plumber to arrive. The plumber never showed up. We missed out on our a.m. fishing because of this. The whole purpose of our trip was to fish in the Mammoth area. We then texted Vacasa customer service requesting an update and they stated that there was no update.
This trip was such a waste of time and money for us. We missed out on valuable fishing time to wait for a plumber that never arrived. We checked in Thursday which was the day that the problem was reported and our check out day was Sunday and we never heard back from either VRBO or Vacasa. Due to this issue, 5 people were forced to share one restroom which was located in the hallway. This was such an inconvenience because we specifically booked this place because it had more than one restroom.
