This top floor completely remodeled studio is the perfect place to call home during your vacation. Within the Monache, the highest rated hotel in Mammoth, you are centrally located. A short walk across the street puts you in the Village with its restaurants, shops, festivals, events, cobblestone pathways, free trolleys and bus's, as well as the gondola, ferrying you to the mountain.
After a day of adventure relax in stylish comfort in front of the fireplace, TV or just look out the window overlooking the outdoor pool and hot tubs as well as the stunning views of the Sherwins and Mammoth Crest.
My studio condo has just completed a total remodel and is one of the few on the top floor privately managed--I own the other as well.
Here at the Monache you'll have access to the outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, workout room, free underground parking and the delicious White Bark restaurant. The studio sleeps 4 with a king sized bed and pull out sofa/sleeper which has a comfy foam mattress.
There is a full bathroom as well as a kitchenette with electric stove, mini refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. All cookware, utensils, and appliances are new. As an added bonus the studio is only a few steps from the elevators. This is where you want to stay.

The room was clean and pretty, but not comfortable. The pillows were large, hard & unusable, the mattress seemed old, it had dips in it and I was up throughout the night. The scent of the towels and washcloths were offputting. There was a broken glass in the cupboard with no glass shards around so it seemed like it was just put up there broken. There was coffee and a coffee pot, but no filters, and I couldn’t find any paper towels to make one.The host was very responsive with our check-in needs.

Great location at the Westin. Easy walk to the village. We went into Devil’s Postpile and Convict Lake to hike and both felt very easy to access from our place. I would bring my own coffee rather than do one in lobby just for ease. Bed is very comfortable and I LOVED the pool/hot tub/ gym amenities

Lovely studio on top floor. Clean and quiet. Owner responded quickly with request to replace 2 lightbulbs that were out. Nice doggie relief area. Convenient walk to The Village. Only suggestion would be to have dishwashing liquid in the unit, more than one dishwasher pod for a week stay, and at least 3 rolls of toilet paper for a couple staying a week (we brought our own toilet paper and Kleenex).

Jeff's top floor condo was awesome! It had everything we needed and had an amazing view! Aside from a very comfortable bed, the window seat was our favorite place to be to relax. The location of the studio was great, since the Westin is located right across the street from Mammoth Village and the gondola.There are frequent music festivals, great restaurants, and shops in the village. Four night stay in Mammoth

We really enjoyed our four nights at this VRBO. It was very clean and has a fantastic view. The parking pass was left for us on the counter and there is plenty of open parking in the garage. We went hiking in the mornings and enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. The room was was very quiet in the evenings. A very beautiful facility and I would definitely rent again.

Really great owner. This is a very nice renovated unit with great views of the mountains at the Westin. The owner was very accommodating, we were staying at the hotel and got stuck in town with a storm and the hotel was sold out. He let us get in the unit early and saved the day. Family of four with a baby fit fine in here!

Cozy Mammoth stay

Had a very cozy stay at Jeff’s place. Check in was straight forward, room was clean and well equipped, everything was as described. We came here for the wkend to do some hiking with the many beautiful hiking trails located around mammoth lakes, after long days on the trail it was so nice to get back to the room to unwind. A lot of close restaurants that are walking distances away and best of all it was pet friendly. Will be back again, thanks jeff

I wish we could’ve stayed here but we had zero communication from the host after the initial email months before our actual stay. Once we arrived, the room was unmade and dirty, which used bedding and towels and dishes. We reached out to VRBO and the host and were left without a solution. We had to scramble to find lodging for the night and spent the rest of our time trying to get our money back. So far, we have not been satisfied. We were disappointed because the property itself was beautiful and the location was great, but we paid for accommodations that we couldn’t enjoy.

Great location and cozy rental

The rental was clean, cozy, and looked just like the pictures. We had a dog with us and there was still plenty of room where we didn't feel claustrophobic. The location was perfect as everything is in walking distance and it had a great view.
