Mosquito island! Fish ponds situated all over area, stagnant water breeding ground for mosquitoes! Beachfront ad but construction right on the beach going on and not disclosed! Loud noises from construction of new hotel next door! No gym, no tv, no hot water from toilet sink! Limited food selection ...

Mambajao will always hold special memories for me. I used to spend summers there since it was the home of my grandparents who left me a big legacy. A step back in time, the island is an escape from the modern world...refreshing.

Beach next to the plaza should get a good cleanup. Plaza needs an uplift.
