Being a border county means there are a wealth of medieval castles and houses to spend time visiting. Do you like walking? The views of the Malvern Hills from your cottage could inspire you to take that long promised walk from British Camp along one of the seven most popular trails taking in wonderful views across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
Locally there are nature reserves, great swathes of common land and lovely interesting walks in this varied countryside that changes with each season. From Ludlow’s eateries, restaurants and delis’ to Ledbury’s abundance of award-winning butchers and independent cafes, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire’s food offerings just keep getting better and better.
