The hotel was beautiful and perfect location with beautiful views. The front desk Bob was wonderful and helpful. The bar server James was very nice. Now the restaurant for dinner was absolutely amazing, from appetizer, main course to desert with Katlyn as our server. But the lounge area was rustic in a very good way which made you feel comfortable. The room was very nice and a great size for bathroom.

Downstairs Hotel was very comfortable with a great view of MALLAIG. Room was disappointing in that it desperately needed refurbishment. Bed was very basic. Carpets were old. Bathroom was of a poor standard, again needing renewing.

Beautiful suite and the hot tub was so appreciated after hiking in the highlands. Staff were friendly and dinner at the restaurant was incredible. We weren’t able to book dinner online, but they ensured we were able to attend in arrival. We had a wonderful stay. The view from the hot tub was gorgeous!

Wow hillside location overlooking Mallaig port with great views across to Skye and islands. Olde worlde Highlands Hotel feel is very charming, friendly staff, super restaurant with decent menu. 1 minute drive to ferry port. Ideal.

Parking was easy. Our room was small and a bit difficult as in the eves and my husband is tall. It was clean and though the bed was a very small double it was comfortable. Reception staff didn’t engage much.. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and the staff there were very good and chatty.

Unfortunately, our stay was curtailed by a family emergency. However, the staff were extremely helpful in helping us through the difficulties of having to leave at such short notice. We will be returning to complete our holiday and will have no hesitation in rebooking here

Budget room is in the roof space there is no lift if needed. Tv reception is terrible and there is no noise insulation between the rooms. Shower is good but bathroom needs an upgrade . £34 for 2 breakfasts so we did not bother.

Great place to spend the night while exploring the small town of Mallaig. Next time I’ll book during summer when more ferry routes align with train schedules. Beautiful hotel and beautiful scenery!
