The staff is amazing, the rooms are spotless, and the restaurant is exceptional (dining staff is excellent).
The beach town of Mondello is a quick easy walk from the hotel which makes it a perfect retreat.

「This property is a gem and right by the beach. We had perfect three days stay here. It’s a family owned and operated boutique hotel. The owners are very friendly and treat you like a family. They helped with restaurant reservations and gave us a lot of suggestions for places to see. Breakfast is excellent. Room rate is a bit expensive but you get an excellent service. Don’t miss the spectacular sunrise in the morning.
Only downside is the town itself. The municipality has a lot of room to...

「Todo excelente excepto por el cobro de City tax de 5 euros por día por persona que no lo esperábamos y en la página no lo advierten . La recepción cierra por la noche así que si llegas después de las 9 pm hay un cobro extra de 20 euros , tampoco se advierte en la página . Pero de todo lo demás es excelente . La habitación es hermosa y muy amplia igual que el baño y la tranquilidad reina en el lugar 」
「The hotel is a diamond in the rough. Sicily is not geared for tourists but Hotel Conchiglia D'oro is fantastic. James, Rosy, Roberto, Stefania and Antonio could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Mondello beach which is easily one of the best beaches in Europe. Our room with the balcony is lovely and a great bathroom / shower for Med Europe. Breakfast is solid too. Great place to stay near a great beach.」
「Magnifique terrasse commune avec vu sur la mer bleue, accompagné du soleil ! Petit logement suffisant pour juste dormir et faire sa toilette (frigo petit format disponible mais pas de micro-onde). Logement très bien placé à proximité des commerces. Parfois quelques perturbations rencontrées avec le voisinage du dessus mais rarement dérangeant (musique). En globalité très bien.」
「Very clean, great temperature control, frequent housekeeping, my room had a small balcony. The owner Stefano and the manager Morena very very helpful. My booking was very last minute and Morena arrived quickly to let me in.」
