Nice family run accommodation with stunning views.

We arrived late and the key had been left for us but unfortunately we did not see it and pressed the bell. Despite waking the owners at 1am, we were forgiven for our mistake and the check in process went smoothly. The hotel is high up on the outskirts of Agia Pelagia with amazing views. There is a lovely pool and bar area and the atmosphere is very laid back - we found it easy to relax. We enjoy walking so the walk into town and to the beach, and the walk back was not a problem for us, but if you don't like to walk it is better to have a car - there is plenty of parking at the property. Taxis are also reasonably priced to and from town. A taxi from the airport cost us around £32. There are a few buses into Heraklion near to the property, and a supermarket and alternative place to eat within a short walk. Peggy and her daughter cook excellent home made dishes for you, but this tends to be one dish each day, which we sampled and found to be very tasty, particularly the home made potatoes. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Rooms are quite spacious but simply furnished - there is a sofabed in the lounge and dining table/basic kitchenette but no TV or toaster/microwave which some people may prefer. Wi-fi was available in the room and was excellent. If you like a homely atmosphere, good food and stunning views, this is an excellent place. We were a bit reluctant to leave and would not hesitate to stay here again.

החופשה במלון היתה בלתי נעימה ובדיעבד אנחנו מצטערים עליה. חבל שלא בחרנו במלון אחר. ביחס למחיר ששילמנו, התמורה שניתנה היתה בלתי מספקת וזאת בלשון המעטה. הדבר המפריע יותר מכל הוא העובדה כי המלון לא רואה את עצמו כמי שרוצה לתת שירות לאורחים שלו. היחס לאורחים הוא קטנוני וקמצני. בארוחת הבוקר (היחידה) אותה אכלנו במלון התבקשנו לשלם תוספת של חמישה יורו עבור כמה פרוסות לחם מאחר והלחם עולה כסף למלון (מראש סופקו חמש פרוסות לחם לשלושה אנשים), המלון אינו מספק שמפו ומרכך מאחר וזה כרוך בהוצאה כספית, הבקשה לקבל מעט מלח לחדר נתקלה אף היעא בתשובה לפיה המלח עולה כסף למלון, שימוש במיזוג בחדר כרוך אף הוא בתשלום, המלון אינו מוכן להחליף מגבות רטובות בטענה כי החלפת מגבות מתבצעת רק פעם בשלושה ימים ועוד ועוד. מדובר רק בחלק מהתמונה. אגב, התיאור באתר לפיו יש כביכול בחדרים טלוויזיות פלזמה בגודל 19-אינץ' ערוצים דיגיטליים אינו נכון. גם התיאור לפיו יש אינטרנט אלחוטי חינם במלון אינו מדוייק, שכן באחר מהחדרים ששהינו בהם לא היה אינטרנט כלל. חבל.

Des hôtes très sympathiques

L’hôtel est un peu vieillot mais reste très bien pour un accueil familial et d'un tarif très raisonnable. La propriétaire qui s'appelle Peggy, est vraiment très gentille et d'excellent conseil si vous voulez faire des visites intéressantes. Elle a été jusqu'à nous accompagner pour assister à une messe dans une église Orthodoxe, ce qui s'est révélé être une expérience vraiment riche, même pour un sceptique non pratiquant comme moi ! Régimes crétois dès le petit-déjeuner qui est riche et copieux et moussaka maison bien roborative !

Roligt hotel med smuk udsigt

Dejligt lille familiehotel. Hyggelig stemning og hjertelige hotelværter. Smuk udsigt med beliggenhed roligt tilbagetrukket fra byen. Til børnefamilier skal det dog nævnes, at poolen er dyb. Meget fine muligheder for at snorkle ved stranden, der ligger for foden af bjerget (ca 15 min til fods).
