「We had a relaxing stay in the Freda room. It’s beautifully decorated in a manner that’s very aligned with the historic homestead. I loved that the Freda room is apart from the other rooms. It was quiet and we had a wonderful sleep in the comfortable bed. The pool area is private and well maintained. The house is situated right across from some excellent dining options in the Main Street. We will definitely be returning for another stay.」

「We checked in and was helped by the owners getting all our luggage carried to cottage.... and it was such a wonderful surprise to have espresso martinis already made up with a cheese and cracker platter in the fridge. fresh local foods also were stocked so we didn't have to go anywhere for breakfast the next day..... we made our own.」

「We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 45 anniversary. Very relaxing sitting on the balcony overlooking the creek. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels. A nice touch was the fresh bread, butter and condiments for breakfast. Being a Sunday night the only place open was the pub for dinner but wow what a dinner that was. The best meal we have had in a long time.」

「レセプションエリアは改装されてたのかすごく綺麗で新しい感じがしたが、部屋は古くて全体的に掃除が行き届いておらず不愉快だった。部屋の空調管理か原因は分からなかったが、到着した時こら床全体が湿っぽく、タオルを敷かないと歩けず、すごく不快で部屋を交換してもらった。その際のレセプションの対応や、部屋に来てくれたスタッフの迅速な対応にまだ救われ、次の部屋がとてもマシだったので何とか寝ることができた。朝食も美味しく、無料アクテビティもあってホテルのサービス自体にはすごく満足した。それを遥かに上回るホテルの古さと汚さにがっかりだった。」

「単語英語しかできないのですが、フロントの方は親切で地図と筆談も交えていろいろご対応いただきました。２ベッドルームの部屋への宿泊。ダブルベッド１、シングル１、二段ベッド１の構成です。内部は清潔です。キッチンは冷蔵庫、グリル付きコンロ、オーブン、電子レンジ、湯沸かしポット、カラトリー各種、調理道具、食器類、フキン、食器用洗剤が揃っています。バーベキュー施設もあり皆さん集まってワイワイやってました。共用の洗濯機（４＄）と衣類乾燥機（１０分１＄？２＄？）もあります。」

「初めて宿泊。ホテルと思って宿泊したら、清掃サービスが１週間に一度しかなかった。風呂の栓がなくてお湯をためられず、その事実を伝えると、ちょっと待ってくれと言われ、今、買いに行ってきました、と手渡される。フロントの受付の女性はずっと歌を歌っている。ホテルのフロントは朝８時から夕方５時までしかいないので、不在時は何も対応してもらえない。「そういうものだ」と最初から割り切ってお金を払えば、それでもいいと思う。欧州各国、欧米のような中流以上のホテルサービスを期待していくと全然違うなという印象。だけど、夜中に謎の滴下音がしたり、ドア開けると虫が入ってきたりする（当然といえば当然か）それでこの価格が適正なのかわからない。最初から「きれいめのコテージ」と割り切ればよいと思う。少なくとも私は、清掃サービスがなくて、受付が日中しかいないのはホテルではないと感じた。それで、日本円にしてだいたい１日１万円。やっぱりちょっと高いかな・・・。」
