The small, recurring sewer smell wasn't good (#3 needs a deeper plumbing trap under the sink), but it was clean, the bed was comfy & the hot shower was nice (don't take TOO long)--as was the staff. The location is PERFECT! I’ll stay again. (No elevator) "

"I consider Hotel Plaza Colonial to be one of the nicest hotels in Campeche since it has a great decor, location and staff. The one thing that I noticed is the bathroom plumbing maintenance is not happening. For example, lifting the handle in the bath tub causes a loud vibration that can be heard in the room next door."

It is one of six fortifications that were constructed to the neighborhood of the city, this acts it was finished in 1801 and it possesses drawbridge, police officer's body, official's quarter, store of gunpowder, his corridor of access is of wavy form which was avoiding the access of the enemy.
