Experience of two older travellers staying for 3 weeks
There was no personal contact between us and the flat management.
Apart from two lots of salt and three coffee capsules, there was nothing to help us preparing food: no olive oil, no milk, nothing welcoming apart from the Welcome Pack with a few washing/washing up items. Only one set of keys.
The excellent lift takes you to the 3rd floor and there are then 17 quite steep metal steps to navigate.
The top of the steps present a potential hazard as the glass 'bannister' finishes 68cm from the top of the steps - close to the narrow route from the bedroom to the bathroom.
The balcony is up three further steps and is surrounded by a 2m wall - no views. The sun was on the balcony for about 4 hours when we were there (February).
The flat is very small and, due to the sloping roof in the bedroom, much of the floor space is unusable. Meals that cannot be eaten outside have to be taken on a small sofa using the raised half of a coffee table for plates.
There were no instruction manuals for most of the equipment in the flat.
The flat is very clean and the bed comfortable, but we are of the opinion that it is not suitable for longer stays. In fact, when we asked for additional towels the management told us to wash the ones we had got as the flat was not designed for long stays. Why didn't they tell us when we booked? We were provided extra pillows (only two originally) and crockery promptly when we asked.
